Honestly, I think it’s long past time for the ride to be replaced. “Men In Black” used to be a hot commodity back in the 90’s, but nowadays? Not so much. That said, I think “The Purge” would be a perfect replacement!

I can’t disagree more, it’s such a fun ride everytime I head to universal I have to ride it.

Interesting standards, because compared to Disney, it has great uptime.

I went on it over a decade ago and finally got to take my girl and my kids on it this past summer. I hyped it up but the ride was closed for hours and when it finally was back running, we went on and it stopped mid ride. We sat for quite some time with everyone getting annoyed and bored. When it finally resumed, the whole timing was off and we were just glad for it to end. They all said it was their least favorite ride in the park. I was sad because I used to love that ride.

Ride breakdowns and stops are sometimes going to happen, but that doesn’t mean the attraction is worse.

You should be aware that the manufacturer who makes the ride parts no longer exist, you should also be aware that the ride system itself is old and needs to be updated, on top of that the vehicles are just like your car they need annual maintenance the majority of the time that our ride goes down is because of guest safety, Men In Black also handles up to 40 RVs at a time while every other ride has at most 4 to 5. If one vehicle stops working aka faults and does not want to move that causes the entire ride to go down, this does not mean that the ride has constant breakdowns, a majority of our downtimes are because of the guests and NOT the ride.

And what guest comments about the vehicle stopping mid ride and then resuming unsynced that is because of people with disability getting on and off, guess who dropped their items on the ride and then want to argue with us about stopping

I’m a pass holder and go every weekend there is a large group on Facebook the 900 club. We ride all the time and get max score I have been walked off the ride many times but would not want to see it go

Not bad…….only took until the 5th paragraph to find out which ride it was.

  7. Too many times they make something very good. But then it becomes the problem when it needs constant maintenance. Like if it was Walt Disney World at one time where it used to be tomorrow world. It was a theater also where people were inside a giant spaceship like a flying saucer. Going to Mars and the seats would rise up inside they would look at the ceiling of a little small opening that would be Mars coming close and leaving the earth. Even on example for Walt Disney World. And Universal studios. If they had something like this they shouldn’t exchange it for something brand new they should always make a difference and new next to it and keep restoring it the original. Because iconic things like Men in Black. Or something like Mission to Mars. Or like riding a miniature version of the Saturn 5 up in the air in a complete circle. In smaller rocket Vehicles holding at least four people in one. But there are tragedies and accidents that happen at the same time for irresponsible guest who don’t pay attention to safety. And those who deliberately cause trouble because they have nothing else better to do. And then making it harder for the innocent guest who are just trying to enjoy the day. And making the park to put more severity on rules for entering such facilities.
