    Yea,
    this is not good.

Ok, obviosuly when the scene was being filmed, the director, assistant director, producer, cinematographer, writers, knew what had happened. And if they didnt catch it during the take it would have been seen on the immediate preview playback onset.

The scene should have been, right then and there reshot with another take.

    It wasnt.

So then how did no one see this in post editing?
And censors? If this was network/tv it would have been blanked out or just outright the scene cut.

To say it was a mistake. Couldnt be. There were so many chances to see it before the episode aired.

Youtube even has fact check, which states it did not have anything to do with what was seen. So fact checkn is unreliable to which sways facts to which ever is the majority at the time.

    Given that,
from a comedy stand point, a poor tasteless joke, at the wrong time. In live comedy its hard to know your audience. In tv/streaming the audience demographic is clearly defined.

Not worth upsetting, alienating longtime fans of the series, Disney for someones ill faded visual gag during a scene.

So if it cant be explained why it happened in terms of the film process and or in terms of poorly timed joke, could there have been a definite (or diabolical) purpose that this was allowed to be aired?

Why does cheerful, wholesome anything have to be ruined by filmakers/comedians who want to get their point across in any media outlet they can which cause dissent and turmoil amongst the audiences?

Oh my lord go lay on your feinting couch and repeat to yourself ‘it’s a joke it’s a joke it’s a joke’ over and over again. Don’t get up until you’re ready to rejoin society without looking over every single thing and wondering if it’s offensive to the Christian God.

    2. Jaron

Tell me you didn’t watch it without telling me you didn’t watch it. Worse, tell me you didn’t read the article without telling me you didn’t read the article.

Of course it wasn’t a mistake. It was comedic relief. The elves looked down and shrieked and then corrected it. It was hilarious.

      1. Dolley

Not only that tim Allen is part of the woke Disney!! Gay couple of female elves it 2 gay men opening presents. Very disappointed in Disney & Tim Allen. All they care about is money. We will see if money saves your soul or not!!!

    3. Alan

It was an intentional joke. The Elves rescrambled and corrected the spelling to “SANTA.” Evangelical/”conservatives” are looking for something to complain about.

    4. George

It was a joke, you libtatds gotta stop with this crap, it’s ok to shove crap like CRT, and cram to say it’s on for 5 year olds to become transgender, get over it bring back things comedy and if you don’t like it don’t freaking watch it but stop trying to cancel everything you don’t like there’s more to this world then your opinions remember that.

      1. Dodger

I don’t know what a “libtatd” is, but I enjoy the many levels of irony here. For one thing, commenting on a comedic typo while unintentionally creating your own is pure comedy gold. For another, it’s interesting that your default mode is to blame liberals – which is what I assume you going for with “libtatds” – when it’s conservatives who are traditionally getting up in arms over anything religion-based that allegedly offends their belief system. If you think liberals are the ones offended by a Satan joke, you need to take a closer look at this comment thread.

As for your apparently unfavorable opinions of Critical Race Theory and teaching transgenderism to young children, allow me to repeat your own words back to you, but with proper spelling and punctuation this time: There’s more to this world than your opinions. Remember that.

        1. S Nogg

Thank you, Dodger! Came here to say basically the same thing.

      2. Bren

I don’t think it was the “libtards” having a problem with this. More the ultra conservative Christians who have no sense of humor, think everyone should abide by their beliefs all the while they are not even true Christians, but control freaks. Definitely not “libtards” who promote love for all. LOL! Maybe next time before you slam a group of people, you should actually look up the meaning of the slang words before posting nonsense.

    5. Doug Morgan

You think sensors wouldn’t have let a joke about Satan go through? That is just silly talk. It wasn’t gore. It wasn’t nudity. It wasn’t even vulgar language. What was the problem other than conservatives being triggered?

  2. i hope the rumor of the Santa Clause series be canceled is it true i would hate if it got canceled because it’s a great show and we have been waiting series for there to be a Santa Clause series or movie and all of us would love for the show to keep on going because were all hoping for a second season a third season fourth season fifth season six season and seventh season of the Santa Clause series and we would love to see who truly takes over for Santa. All though theory is that it will be Cal who takes over as the new Santa Clause.

  3. Eric

Who cares, it was a little joke, not to mention Santa isn’t exactly the most religious character to begin with. The version most know was a marketing campaign and traditionally he was a pagan creation. It’s not like they are promoting Satanism, it was meant to be a funny joke about misspelling nothing more. The Religious wingnuts need to get over themselves

    1. Walt

ummmm do your homework – just because you say something does not make it true. Santa was based on an actual chrisitian saint and yes did morph into the present day version. He was not Pagan good grief. the ignorance of people is deafening.

      1. Dodger

Some of us actually HAVE done our homework, and it turns out that Santa Claus has several inspirations, including some roots in paganism. He might owe his earliest influence to Odin, a god revered by Germanic peoples in Northern Europe. Odin was celebrated during Yule, which was a pagan holiday that took place midwinter. Long before Christians co-opted pagan rituals, a Slavic deity named Father Winter used to enter Siberian homes through the holes, or chimneys, in the roofs of their huts.

Indeed much of modern Christmas has pagan origins. Christians don’t even know the actual date of Jesus Christ’s birth, which is why the Bible doesn’t mention it anywhere, so the date was chosen by Christians to coincide with preexisting winter solstice celebrations. In other words, just because you SAY Santa doesn’t have pagan roots, it doesn’t make it true.

With my help, I hope you’re feeling a bit less “deaf” now. I must say, the arrogance of some people is certainly deafening still.

        1. Udontknowme

          Bravo

      2. Dr. Manny

Walt actually your claim is incorrect. Do some research before you jump to conclusions or correct others.

A large number of Pagan traditions, gods and goddesses were morphed into saints or demonized to bring converts into the fold.

Talk about erasing history, the Catholic Church and Christianity has been doing it for centuries.

    2. Staci

I agree! It was a small joke. And people are so butt hurt over a spelling mistake. Holy rollers need to back off and stop taking everything so seriously.

  4. Marcus

People need to stop being ridiculous. It seems the anti-woke crowd has become more silly than the woke patrol.

    1. Anonymous

Isn’t it actually the woke people who are reacting?

  5. Dodger

You think kids don’t know who Satan is? If your own kids don’t, then that’s problematic for different reasons.

  6. Steve

At least Satan has European origins, unlike the Hebrew god that race-betraying Christians worship.

  7. phillysub

It’s a show! A COMEDY show! People need to chill out about every tiny little thing. People who are boycotting won’t be missed.

  8. Its a JOKE. A Funny play on words. Enough with the “clutching of pearls”
If U can’t handel one Silly joke ,U R Simply PATHATIC.Move back n9ntonur Bubble and Stay There for the sake of the TV watcher who has the comon sense to “understand” comedy.

    1. Dr. Manny

I am pretty sure children in Christian Sunday school hear the word Satan repeated over and over more than once.

  9. CJ

Well, I don’t have to much to say, but that it was hilarious, even more so now everyone is getting offended over a joke. Not like children don’t see it in the world everywhere else geez. You can’t hide it just accept it, take a deep breath and ….. laugh for once in your life. :😀

  10. Jimmy

Wow!I cannot believe that people were offended by an innocent and what I thought was a very funny joke. Well, to all of those offended… I’m offended that you’re offended! So in the immortal words of South Park, “kiss it… apologize! “

  12. Kyle

I think it was a joke. I don’t find any deeper meaning in it. The elves properly freak out about the mistake. I think people are freaking out over a joke.

  13. Billy

The people complaining, crying, boycotting, etc don’t really care about the joke itself. These people troll everything looking to ruin anything anyone likes. Cowards sitting at a keyboard.

  14. Mary

People, get a grip on reality. I saw it, wasn’t offensive, it was comical. My goodness, all the other crap going on in the world and you are going on about this???

  15. RisaRocket

Tell me you don’t have kids without saying you don’t have kids.

ALL kids have mistakenly wrote Satan instead of Santa when writing out their lists. One minute you want god out of school this, that and the other but as soon as they make a joke about this, everyone is a bible thumper.

  16. Deb

It’s just a joke people jeez get over it ,I can’t wait for next episode

  17. Lyle lanley

The best part is that the same people who are getting pissed about this are the same asshats who were made because they thought Tim Allen got canceled from LIGHTYEAR!! You could tattoo the definition of hypocrisy on their foreheads and they still wouldn’t get it!!!

  18. Jayne1955

It’s a joke. I’ve seen this happen at sporting events with team names and everyone thinks it’s hysterical. Take it for what it is. Not everything has deeper meaning.

  19. Jayne1955

All kids shows have stuff that goes over their heads and is aimed at the adults. Bugs Bunny and Shrek were over the top at that. Kids are just going to say, IF they can even spell, that the elves made a mistake!

  20. Doug Morgan

These are the very people who accuse us “lefties” of being triggered and not having a sense of humor. What a bunch of hypocrites!

    1. Steve

Because it is true. You literally invented the word triggered.

  21. Doug Morgan

The show is literally about a character from pagan mythology. And seeing the word “Satan” feels un-Christian?

  22. Sam

Who cares. Everyone needs to grow up and quit taking things so personal. This was a funny mistake that made several people laugh. People these days gets offended by anything that they don’t like and they like to share their own distaste and dissatisfaction with the world so everyone else can be as miserable as they are.

  23. Ingrid P Hodges

WOW! It is just a word people. Means absolutely nothing. In no way detracts nor adds to the series. Move on.

  24. Kurt

Satan exists in the movies only. No such creature in real life.

    1. Dodger

I must beg to differ there. He also exists in fiction books and TV shows.

      1. Kurt

        I stand corrected Dodger!
        Thank you.

    2. David M

your right! He is a heavenly body, ex angel of God. The true deceiver, and envy of good and happiness. But his dominion is evil, and deceit! Pick up a Bible, most read book in the world.
Even if you are not a believer, maybe the stories will help. Cheers!

  25. Dodger

I must beg to differ there. He also exists in fiction books and on TV.

    1. Dodger

…and also in Doppelgänger posts in comment threads. *smirk*

  26. Susan

Big deal it was a joke!!!

  27. David M

As I read the comments, I am a Christian, and did not take it as infiltrating the minds of children. There is a “devil” in the facts, oh well hell is the place of the damned! Should we dismiss mistakes, the elves corrected that!! Yes we learn by our mistakes. Hide Satan?? Hell NO, people need to know the ultimate deceiver. Know how to keep from being part of his plan! Hide from the facts and knowledge and you can quickly be deceived by false doctrine and truth! Think and be Jolly, be happy and enjoy the comedy!
