  1. I was on that cruise and the cruise line handled it as well as can be expected. This was not something they deal with a lot and they were devastated.
    However many passengers were disgusting as they pushed to get off the ship and fights were common. They were a disgrace after someone died.
    I photographed 4 people being removed from the ship in handcuffs.

    It doesn’t excuse it, but people often book flights too close to when the ship arrives. They were probably worried they’d miss their plane. It’s totally fine to fly home the same day; a lot of people do, but give yourself some time. This is obviously an extraordinary circumstance.
