Disney this is your own fault going against Walt Disney’s words against bring in alcohol. Allowing Woke to have some of their agenda in the parks. Raising prices way to high. And several other things
Learn the true meaning of “woke” before using it as so many do. I see nothing wrong with allow guests in which recognize the injustices and racial discrimination. Maybe it’s you that needs to stay away
Or… It’s social clout chasers like the article said. Reading isn’t just for the progressive – though it often seems they are the only ones taking advantage of it. Lol
We have raised several generations without respect for rules, regulations, and proper behavior. These Me first generations are the cause of the bad behavior problems.
Outlaw social media in the parks, last trip a influencer decided to film TOT in the seat in front of me, totally ruined the experience. She should be banned
It’s about time Disney started to take action on some of this craziness. The TikTok folks are trying to cash-in on how the YouTube crowds have been making money; however, their audience sometimes expects more disruptive or immature content. I’d be happy Disney you got rid of all streaming for profit in the parks especially on all rides. Streaming is what I believe basically ruined the Star Wars hotel deal. Who needs to go when you can see exactly what happens on several YouTube channels. Magic gone!
Last time I was there I got ran over by kids racing around in carts. When I checked to see requirements for rental I was told ANYBODY over 18 with a license can rent one. Are you kidding me!!!. These were supposed to be for HDCP access to parks. This is just one of things Disney can stop. Make rentals only for HDCP like it should be
You got ran over? Those things go 3 MPH. How did you not see them coming and get out of the way? I mean, they shouldn’t be racing, but if you get hit by one it’s your fault they go slower than you can walk lol.
Actually, in a slow-moving night crowd, the scooters can be a danger to both the operator and people in the crowd. I’ve also been hit by them, pushed into them and my feet have been run over by them in the holiday crowds. Now I do have sympathy for those driving them. I think there is a need for paths designed for easy and safe passage for these vehicles. They are heavy and can really harm people.
So I have to prove to you my protected medical information before allowed to enjoy the park?
Are you then going to submit to alcohol and drug screening before entering ??
How does anyone now your mentality fit to be there..Can’t make people show proof of disability just have better security and punishment
I’m assuming you’re talking about the motorized scooters? I haven’t experienced what you’re talking about in all the years I’ve been going to Disney as an AP but if you’re going to outlaw that they also need to outlaw the people who rent them simply because they’re too fat to walk around the parks. Those are some of the rudest people I have ever experienced and will run right over you.
I agree. My husband was unable to go into two parks because there was no ECV available. Unfortunately our society has made it so you cannot question as to why it is needed or you get sued. Maybe they could try a reservation system, so people who genuinely need one to navigate the parks are assured one is available instead of the first-come, first-served method. May alleviate the availability to fun seekers.
GOOD!!!
As a former CM, it breaks my heart to see what people will do for “a free t-shirt”. These “influencers” are bad news and they are teaching people that bad behavior is okay. These “guests” need to be turned away and those breaking rules inside the parks, should be suspended from the parks and IF their behavior continues, banned permanently. These unruly guests have made for many unhappy trips for many RESPECTABLE park guests.
Hopefully, this is just the beginning and order will soon be restored.
Disney has policies for the bad behavior listed above. I think the so called Disney “backlash” mentioned wouldnt be as necessary if they just enforced their policies. Instead of seeing articles such as this one, we should be seeing articles of the rare instance of bad behavior of a guest(s) AND (1) the policy that was enforced as a result of the instance. (2)Including a link to the related policy would help educate future guests to be aware of policies and repercussions to deter future bad behavior.
(A)Guests that arent dressed properly should be pulled aside before going through a Disney security check, not after they enter the park. Clothing shouldnt be free for offenders. If they remove clothing after entering the park, guess should be asked to leave and their ticket with no refund if the guest doesnt immediately put appropriate clothing on, The Magic Band or ticket should redflag these guests so they dont simply hop to another park.
(B) One of the most annoying experiences that affect me as a guest is line-jumping, cutting queue lines, or others saving a place in line for the rest of their party. The entire party should enter the queue together…so annoying. The guests negatively impacted just has to silently fume over this behavior or risk the bad behavior party starting a fight.
There should be cast members at water fountains in queues as well as the bathrooms in the Flight of Passage queue….no one knows how that is suppose to work including cast members.
(C) I would like to see articles entitled Guest was Banned from Disney Parks for 5 years after Violating Safety Policy. Or Guest Escorted out of Park Without Refund for Refusing to dress Appropriately. These articles should have a link to their policy, the articles should state the portion of the policy the guest broke, and why the policy is in place. We read these articles and feel just as helpless and resistant to planning future trips because we are left feeling like another guest got away with bad behavior…we feel like we will witness similar bad behavior and the trip just isnt worth the effort and cost anymore, because Disney isnt enforcing their policies making it safe or enjoyable for the rest of us. This is what Disney shoukd be addressing to attract guests that follow the rules and just want a vacation escape to a safe pleasurable getaway. Instead they focus on cancelling Annual Passes and catagorize the unwanted or undesirable guest based on how much money they spend.
No. Don’t be blaming all that on a person that wants to enjoy a few drinks at the park. Blame on just bad and rude behavior of people that think they are entitled.
Yes, these “streamers” are vultures and they don’t create any content , they just steal copyrighted material and feature park guests and children without any permission or consent.
It should be a lawsuit against the companies and individuals who steal this pirate-style video from the parks and the guests.
If Disney is filming any commercial inside the park , they always post signs all around letting people know and decide if they want to steer clear of the cameras, but these slimeball live streamers just pirate all footage without any warning or consent.
It’s insulting to actual artists and creators and it’s intrusive and embarrassing to the guests.
The streaming platform and money laundering donation websites (super chat/ patrion) are paying these streamers to steal images and experiences from unwilling and or unwitting performers.
Absolutely disgusting that this is allowed to happen inside of a resort.

Woke means destroying the culture that built our civilization in favor of foreign ones and bad ideas.
Gary
Thank you sir!
Daeshia
Considering the ‘culture’ that built the US relied heavily on slavery and genocide, we could probably use a bit of woke, don’t you think?
Bob
Repeat the myth

They shouldn’t be allowed, period.

So you’re saying that my disabled kid shouldn’t be able to enjoy the park because you think ECVs shouldn’t be there?

Is there a possibility that these behaviors are a result of alcohol being introduced to the parks?
