It’s basically the same ride as the Legoland Ninjago Rides, it’s a used ride tech that isn’t that great. The arm movements never really work that well compared to a physical laser gun. They could have done so much more with this ride.
We have been to Disney 10 times since this ride opened and have never been able to ride. It broke down three times in one day in November. We were almost on the ride that time. Two hour wait for nothing.
Disney, please stop buying other companies and their characters. You don’t get it. At the same time these franchises need to avoid selling their soul to make a buck.
We rode Web Slingers minimum once per visit, our kindergartener LOVES it.
I completely share the sentiment of it feeling like the midway mania ride, it truly is not much different. The first time we rode Web Slingers I was definitely underwhelmed, especially since the queue was more than 90 minutes. For a 90 minute standby time, I’d rather ride Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission:BREAKOUT or Soarin’ Over California/The World.
The ride was built by the same company that did the NINJAGO ride at Legoland back in 2016 and uses the exact same technology. So this is not even a “Disney” ride and the technology is not new either. For this to need refurbishment so soon is not a good sign as to the longevity of this ride. Disney needs to stop using IP themed rides and save that for shows that can have an expiration date. Invent something new again like the PeopleMover or Space Mountain or Submarine or Monorail…be inventive again.

Correct, it was built by the same company that did Ninjago and is the same technology from 2016.
