It’s not that they don’t want to be seen. It’s the fact that celebrity photos of any kind present a legal mess when it comes to their usage as to who has the rights to them and where they can be printed or used. For instance, someone else could request the photo and then use it on a blog or a magazine, photoshop it to put themselves on the ride in the same car, etc. And especially a tangle if they can somehow make money off such a photo.
