Won’t happen. DJ has star power but he just can’t hold a movie on his own. Yet. Look at Black Adam. Didn’t break even. Jungle Book? Nope. Disney makes it’s money off of the ride and merch. Hobbs and..somebody? Nope. He works best in ensemble movies. Now hear me out…. I’m being serious. I think if he wants to get into sci Fi he should do a stand alone movie about his gladiator character on Star Trek Voyager. Stream it on CBS. Not too dark but not saccharine like the ’90’s Star Trek was. A: it gets the audience used to seeing him as a lead in a franchise driven movie where it’s not over $100m to make, B: he gets into another franchise this one is on the up and up and we know Kurtzman favors the ’90’s Trek.
Somebody is in denial… San Andreas and Rampage say hi. Hun he is a huge movie star and the main reason people go to see lots of films. If you can’t admit that or see that then you are in denial.
When the Rock made it in Hollywood WWE took note and made their own studios so performers could stay in WWE and also be in movies and it’s called WWE Presents A WWE Studio Production

People go to movies for franchises and narrative hype until positive reviews stir word of mouth. If they wanted The Mummy reboot to succeed.. they should have tried to make a decent well-marketed movie first.
Being of the age…George of the Jungle/The Mummy/Scorpion King were rewatched 100s of times, know these series by heart, am trying to imagine a plot that could be successful as those originals!!! Bring it!!!
Love the rock. Also crazy aboug Brendan and would LOVE to see a new Mummy movie. They were good together in that. Truly miss Brendan. I feel that the Rock can hold a movie on his own. Went to see Black Adam because it was him. Nobody else could have played that roll like him.
I’d rather se Brendan by him self in that case. Can’t say i ever really liked The Rock in that franchise.. Brendan gets too much bad critic and the rock a little too much hype.

Cant stand Tom Cruise..he is a has been and desparately needs to retire. People are sick of seeing him in things he is too old to play in.
