My issue is that it isn’t consistent with the era in which the attraction is set.
This is fine for something like Pirates, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, even Haunted Mansion where there is a specific time period that it is set within, but when there is a specific time period, like with Tower of Terror, the announcements should be consistent with the time period, even if they wouldn’t be politically correct today.
As a gay man, I’m tired of also this woke nonsense. Many gay events I went to 25 years ago the MC would say, “Ladies and gentlemen and everyone in-between welcome to tonight’s show.” Never was anyone offended or angry. Millennials have ruined gay culture and the world as well as their woke wine moms. Someone stop this madness please!
I agree with Pocho Villa and Anthony. I honestly don’t think people are even thinking about this stuff when they hear the announcements wherever in the myriads of parks and resorts they are. People are used to the original way. Now it’s “I’m offended by”… (fill in the blank). There’s part of where your painstakingly spent money is going.
