Me too. I wouldn’t be waiting 30 freaking minutes to do so either! Lol They can have security meet me, if they are so incapable of moving it along. 10 minutes is honestly ridiculous for Disney when lines are so long alone and the money we all pay. Some people even have issues where they need bathroom breaks, medication etc … 30 is inexcusable in this circumstance.
Too many overweight people showing up at these parks and universal as well on their freaking scooters getting in the way of everyone trying to walk from experience to experience. Their should be a check of disability ID at the gates before all these carts are allowed to ride around.
There are placards that I know of that my grandma had plus details of her disability. My child has an official IEP for her disability and medical documents etc. Proof of disability.
Being fat is an official disability in this failed state called America, so it would do nothing. Yes, we actively reward people for being a blight upon society and this is only the start of it.
I’m sure there is bound to be problems with a ride, if they over crowd them with people. There should be a weight limit posted on these rides. Solves the rides from breaking down.
Do you think people would follow it? Are you going to weigh everyone? Lol They used to enforce it at the ride. The person counting was responsible for the uncomfortable job of making clearly heavy/big people wait on the side for more space. They had to guess if people were too heavy. Problem now is it’s not politically correct and I’m sure some Hutt would be trying to sue for “body shaming”. Screw people’s safety when it comes to being oc amirite?
I’ve been saying it, they are too worried about being PC!!! The safety of guests should be priority which includes proper ride usage and maintenance. Followed by immersion. The subtle ways they try to be woke are ruining it.
Most of the rides were made before obesity was such a widespread matter. I remember in the 90s they still would stop guests that appeared obviously obese and would make them wait for space.
On pirates for example, two heavier adults (average size now) would have to wait to get a row to themselves. One or more really obese people would have to wait for several rows to offset weight.
Now they will just pack people in. Recently one woman needed help getting in, the whole boat made a terrible noise when she sat, and they kept a full boat anyhow. Along with her three medium-larger sizes family members. Yes our boat was slow, and we got stuck for longer than usual. Embarrassingly others were piled up behind us.
It’s not “nice” to be honest..perhaps it’s either people running things are; too brainwashed, afraid of being sued, and/or lazy.
Of course we’ve all seen the cast members that don’t want to earn their money (though I admit it’s not enough tough t***ies). So I don’t doubt the “they don’t pay me enough” would be a common thought if they aren’t being trained to not offend anyone…even at the expense of safety and immersion.
Honestly if one of the slow boat rides was stopped more than 15 mins I’m getting off of that ride. No need to wait for a cast member thanks!

I’d love to see behind the scenes on that.

Genuinely curious
What exactly is a “disability ID”? As someone who travels the world with a disabled person, I’ve never seen one.

Don’t engage the troll.

Who else would refuse to sit and wait on such a ride for 30 mins?!! 👋

We were on the boat behind them. Didn’t see “large” people exit the boat. Possible just the way they loaded.

This is a 40 yr old ride with advance growing tech, & we still do not use Hyrdoponics today! – must be too expensive, or something.
