I’ve evacuated from several rides at Disneyland CA. Pinocchio, Splash Mountain, Haunted Mansion, People Mover… I find it very interesting. The cast member on Pinocchio actually gave us a quick tour and some information about the ride.
However, I really don’t think an evacuation that is just a regular breakdown is really worth an article. Most of this article is just padding to make it long. But, I guess we all have to make money to pay the bills. It well written unlike a lot of stuff I see.
This would be useful information or news if every single story on this website didn’t read like a massive Disney ad before you got to the actual news item.
My husband and I were evacuated from Space Mountain. It lost electrical power and our space ship ground to a halt. First they had to turn on the lights and we got to see the interior without the stars. It was cool. We were stuck mid way and had to climb down the mountain on catwalks. The safety and health team was excellent. They had to unlock us from our space capsule so they could release the retaining bar. I loved the experience.
We were evacuated from Remys Ratatouille last week in EPcot but luckily it stopped right before we were in line to exit. I can’t imagine being stuck inside the ride.
I had waited patiently for 2 hours to ride Test Track. When it was our turn. We went inside and were quickly ushered out. I was only upset because our time felt wasted. If a ride breaks down, I appreciate a heads up. I remember people swearing and saying not so nice things. But, to say these things in Front of children is in poor taste.
We weren’t evacuated but shortly after we rode Seven Dwarfs it went down Thursday (12/9). I noticed Tower of Terror, Rise of the Resistance, and Rockin Rollercoaster also went down during our time at the parks.
Why do all of these stories have so much repeat BS. Disney World is an over priced pain in the butt. My kids hates the place. The long lines, the shirt shows after waiting for hours and the constant crowds of rude people. Disney makes you walk forever, stand for hours, and the reward is minimal. They loved Sea World, Universal, Gatorland, and even Fun Spot way more than DW. The only thing DW had they loved was Disney Quest – they of course removed it.

Gatorland ROCKS around this time of year. Even when I can’t physically go there I try to support them financially as much as possible…
