The magic at DL is gone. The cast members act like it’s just a job. Low valve for high dollars. I went in Dec. Just before covid and in Nov. After mask mandates ended and its like night and day. No fun anymore.just very expensive and longer lines than ever.
I agree with you on Woke they need to be eradicated from Disney for good & from the country for that matter. They overstepped big time and they will pay the price.
Disney, having gone woke and overboard on “political correctness”, is now in a downward spiril from which recovery is unlikely. The spirit of Walt Disney has been replaced with monetary gain and California’s weird politics. So sorry to see a family-friendly enterprise die.
I completely agree! So sad. We were pass holders for years but it is far too expensive! I was able to take my 3 adult kids and their families to Sea World (13 grandkids for under $600) it would have been a few thousand for Disneyland!
Lost us l when annual passes rose $400.00 because people would pay it for Star Wars…. We didn’t. Raised four children.making weekend trips to Disney World. Many timeless memories of trips to Fort Wilderness with our travel trailer. It’s now more like the roadside places Disney replaced with over priced food, toys, and pay to park at hotels. Miss the Disney we used to know.
The parks are following the example laid out in The Santa Clause 3. The magic is lost to the power of the the dollar. The only parks still holding to the magic are in Tokyo but even there you can see some eroding to the money trail.
Parks (FL) and attractions have become outdated and boring. Staff has lost that “refined” friendliness that used to great you throughout the parks.
Of late, to many attractions have closed down to often.
You just don’t get that feeling of being transported to a euphoric state is in the past. So sad…..

Disney parks waste so much space. They make you wait for no reason and split up the lines into multiple lines with multiple preshows at times. It’s all about making you think they offer more than they actually do.
The problem is that Disney is run by culture warriors with clout they bought using other people’s money. If they destroy Disney, they lose nothing. The people whose money they burned lose everything.

I could see this coming when they started charging hotel guests for parking. I could see what i always called The Rise of the Bean Counters.

Lets hope something changes & fast to where Disney goes back to what Walt envisioned years ago. But for now everyone keep after the Disney Leadership!
Steve
It will never change as long as it is controlled by wokesters using other people’s money.
