SOUNDS LIKE GREEN ENERGY IS WORKING AS WELL AS IT CAN. 😕🤔 MAYBE ALL THOSE SOLAR PANELS DONT WORK WHEN TO MANY CLOUDY RAINY DAYS. JUST SAYIN. WINDMILLS SOUND SO SAFE AND REASSURING AS WELL TO POWER A RIDE IM ON. GIVES ME GREATNCOMFORT TO KNOW SOLAR BATTERIES AND OLD WORLD WINDMILLS LIKE THE DANISH AND AMISH ARE SAFELY SUPPLYING THENELECTRICITY TO THE RIDE IM ON. 😂😂😂LMAO!!!

WHY ARE YOU SCREAMING AT ME!!

      1. Lefties are so easily offended. All caps bothers you? Grow up.

    2. Dodger

Looks like your comment was powered by the far less reliable red energy. It has just enough power to achieve an attention-seeking “all caps” style of writing, but not enough to fuel auto-correct apparently.

    3. Jen

Wow what a really ignorant comment 🤦🏻‍♀️

That’s why I always bring my flashlight.
      Been stuck too many times

They don’t run everything off of solar. Lol 😂 They have solar yes but not for everything that would be extremely difficult and we would see them taking over more of the land to get more solar panels put in.

The green b.s. with the grass is for sure not helping anyone/anything. It’s toxic stuff.

Under Chapek I don’t think ride maintenance was happening enough.

Also for the past decade they’ve been getting more politically correct and will shove anyone onto the ride.

When I was younger if there were two heavier adults or even one morbidly obese adult they had to ride certain rides alone or almost alone (pirates and other vintage rides=they had three rows to themselves lol). To disperse the weight.

It was for safety and accountibility on behalf of the people running the rides. Now the mix of lazy workers and not wanting to offend anyone (probably directed in training)……

not sure what is happening at WDW but at least 2 days this week one of the parks has had major shut downs of rides and at least one show…The first day I read about it online in a news article and yesterday we were there and only was able to ride one ride in the 4 hours we stayed……..We decided to leave after that time. People pay big bucks to go to these parks and expect these things not to happen, ……….ONE ride ok, many rides , not so good.

One ride in 4 hours? That compares to one ride every 3 hours when I was last there, and the park was at peak number of visitors😩

Seems to be getting worse at the California and Florida parks. I am not spending all that money and driving 8 hours to not be able to ride anything. They have their own electric company so not sure what the problem is but they need more maintenance workers but since they now have a hiring freeze that won’t happen.

Why make reservations when you still have to wait more than an hour for some rides. Don’t get it?

      1. Whit

There’s no way of knowing what the wait lines would be …lol Or buy Genie or LL.

Yes during holiday seasons it’s more busy but that doesn’t usually mean that every ride is that long. The major rides are, some people think it’s worth it obviously or the lines wouldn’t get so long.

Personally we will not ride anything if it’s that long and just take in the ambiance.

Judt another ” hsppy” day at Disney huh.?? Save your money and ho to another park ! Prices go up as more rides shut down !

What really going on at Disney?

Not happy at all with Disney, tbe service, the cleanliness. I started taking pictures of all the employees standing around talking to each and not working. I hope it’s not too late for them to change.

  6. Jenny

Add Space Mountain to that list haha. I happened to be there. It seemed like literally every major ride was down. It was quite shocking but, not really affecting the visitors apparently. Most probably didn’t even notice.
    Maybe everyone was on break😕

  7. Sounds like they were getting ready for the firework show and or evening entertainment-those rides are always closed during those events

    1. Mindy

Yeah I see that all the time depending on the shows. I wouldn’t have thought anything of it. Still plenty of rides left and things to do. Sounds like everything reopened anyway, and I usually stay until park closing so that’s the best time to ride those rides.

    2. They are? When we used to visit Disneyland years ago, we FEASTED on attractions when all the masses were standing on Main St watching a parade or fireworks. Why should the rides shut down at ANY time during operating hours?

  8. What?!? Disney isn’t PERFECT?? Life happens even if it’s a theme park. Maybe there’s better things to focus on? Let’s go get a Mickey pretzel…

  9. Now, if the beer runs out….NOW there’s a crisis! (Smiles!)

  10. Whit

I’d like to know why they were closed. It almost feels like “on break, be back soon”. They did just lay off a bunch of ppl…(I think Chapek set in motion before leaving).

Either way it’s make as heck. For CA Adventure honestly the only thing that’s triggering is if there’s much line traffic that won’t be dispersed from Incredicoaster and the carousel.

For Disneyland that’s definitely a lot at once. And obviously same issue with all other rides would be virtually not rideable on a busy night because of how long the lines would become.

We’ve noticed this problem more often in the past year. Along with rides just having technical difficulties more often.

But they also used to not be politically correct vs safe. If you had a really morbidly obese person or two obese people wanting on an older ride together they would make them wait. For weight limits….optimum rude performance etc. Now they will just cram everyone on together. I honestly can’t tell why they have so much of people dictating where to sit on a ride anymore other than to prevent guest fighting.

Iger has a lot to fix up. I hope he can.

Wow Ron DeSantis decides Disney is immoral and the criticism runs rampant
