I like to remind people who try to use “woke” as an insult that they are using a word they stole from black vernacular incorrectly. It means “aware of the injustices in the world,” and being called “woke” is a good thing, not a bad thing, no matter how much they try to turn it into a bad thing.

You all do realize during the Renaissance, the time period which took us out of the dark ages and into modern times, they called people like Galileo and others “heretics.” In modern times the call people “woke.” This is just history repeating itself. It might come as a shock to some, but for all of recorded history, people have known what is normal and what is not. Disney, many other companies, local, state and federal governments are all focused on convincing everyone that what is perverse is not, when the vast majority know that, regardless of all the press, it is still perverse. These people, who claim that we’re “indoctrinated” have been indoctrinated into a culture of “normal” that actively others anything that disrupts what they consider normal.
And those of higher standing notice this, and they continually stir the pot for money, notoriety, and power, and at worse they actively support their agenda of hate. So yeah, those who are “not normal” may do nothing but spend their whole lives trying to justify their existence, but what choice do they have? Do they just lay down and agree that they’re weird and have no place in society? No! They fight, and they’ll keep fighting until they get the respect they’re due!
People say we’re just sheep, but really we all are. We’re all sheep just huddled together in flocks, going with the flow of life. And thankfully, we get to choose what kind of flocks we’re in. I don’t know about the rest of you, but I’d rather be in one that supports each other regardless of immutable aspects over the one that tries to destroy other flocks because they exist.

Goodness, why does Disney attract so many Far Right people? Is it because it was so squeaky clean back then that now that it’s trying to become more progressive, people are crying foul of it?
I get it, corporate wokeness reeks of pandering, but I’m more upset by it because I know how fake it is. Take of the century, I know. But what pisses me off more is that its just more fuel for people to attack the marginalized. i,my family and friends are not interested in Disney s social,political and woke views and feel they should desist in these areas. DISNEY has and continues to damage its brand and business as so many peopke do not agree with their wildly left agenda and don t wsnt their loved ones exposed to their leftist positions. They should go back to being an entertainment company and not a socilal political lobbying company otherwise they will continue to lose former clients of their parks and consumers of their TV and movie enterprises.
