People are so offended about everything now days. I honestly didn’t see or hear anything that people were saying was offensive.

    1. Abigail

Literally no one said anything about the video being offensive. They’re talking about how it shows 3 million different angles of JUST the drop, which ngl is kind of disappointing. Splash is such a fun ride because of the other portions of the ride, not just the drop. But then again, what were we expecting with a video from 30 years ago lmao

I am tired of all this wokeness at Disney. PLEASE STOP IT.00

      1. Save Splash

Boycott this ride aver revamp! No more wokeness!

        1. Lorenda

What’s the heck is wokeness? Never go against the ride even if they change the theme to Tiana. He really cares as long as it’s still cool ride

    3. Paul

Gonna miss the ride can’t be arsed with woke world any longer prices are to high roll on 2025 when universals new parks open

  2. Andrew

I think it would be a lot better for Disney to open up a princess and the frog resturant instead of replacing an iconic ride.

    1. Pat

      Yes, EXACTLY!!!!

    2. Jack Sparrow

Nobody cares even remotely about Princes much less her frog. NOLA is a violent cesspit.

This used to be my favorite ride. In Disney World I miss getting splashed walking over the bridge on a hot day. I don’t know why they they changed that, I can only guess people complained.

The ride has been there from the beginning, since the 70’s, not 90’s. Who cares if they only shoe the drop. I, my family, friends, and people I’ve met have never complained about the ride. It’s a favorite to a lot of people. I don’t even know why they’d change it. And why to princess and the frog. That’s not a new movie, either. If they are looking to update, how about Moana. But I do love the original, it’s really light hearted, fun, and gleeful.

The first version of Splash mountain opened in Disneyland in 1989 with the WDW version opening in 1992. It wasn’t there in the 70’s

    2. Debbie

It has not been there since the 70’s. It opened in ’89. I worked there. I did a show to open the attraction.

I often wonder how many people actually saw the movie Song of the South ? I am so tired of people deciding what a movie means ! Why don’t the woke people just leave everyone alone . Grow up get a job and be productive . Did anyone see Uncle Ramis on TV ? He was as l remember a nice old man telling any kid who watched to be nice .

    1. Sue

      I agree 100%

I distinctly remember the flood of TV ads for Big Thunder Mountain…around 1979? Pretty sure it was exactly as advertised. ‘Big Thunder Strikes!’

  7. Jack Sparrow

I adore that you were so triggered.

    1. Shamis

Do you even know what the word triggered means? What a dummmbo.

I really don’t understand the anger changing this ride. I took my daughter on it and she was confused what movie is this from. So I had to give a talk how it’s a movie Mickey mouse no long let’s people watch, but still let’s people ride the ride just so they know it exists.
Then I had to tell her not to sing zippity do da because it can trigger BLM people, and cause daddy to get attacked.

    1. Steve

      Maybe you should be angry.

  9. Bryan Cooper

If they change the ride then I will definitely never go to Disney again. Enough is enough with their bs woke I want to change everything for me mentality 💯

  10. Steve

Blackrock/Vanguard, the #1 sponsors of terror.

  11. Bob

Is Disney really trying to appease the woke crowd by giving them an old hand-me-down attraction? Here you go guys we’ll give you this old attraction and put your princess in there, now quit your b****ing.
I do think princess and the frog would make a great attraction So for God sakes build a new one and leave the icons alone.

  12. We would never have known, nor did I care that it was based off of song of the south. It wasn’t offensive in anyway. It was a fun ride with singing animals! Zipping doo da!!!!!!!

  13. My phone keeps auto correcting. I’m done fighting with it. You all know what it is supposed to be.

Did the article have a purpose or did you just need to throw something together to get paid?
