Not sure any reservation system equates to magical experience. Try this: set a maximum number of guests each day for each park. When that amount of tickets is reached, close sales. A similar service is in place with airlines, which overbook flights as a matter of course That results in people who think they have reservations being left without a seat. So overselling a finite population has been proven to fail. There are smart people at Disney, let them work at it.
How do you then handle walk up sales, pre sold tickets and annual passes?
People will travel considerable distances and be turned away at the gate.
Unless they have a reservation….
