If theme parks are going to take a reactive approach, instead of a proactive approach, people, guests, and employees who are hurt by violent behavior should file criminal charges against the criminal, and sue the theme parks for not taking appropriate measures to prevent it. Sadly, theme parks are putting profit before people, and the naredowells are being given dangerous latitude to cause trouble, and ruin a families day out. People are being hurt because troublemakers are filming their behavior for their 15 minutes of fame. That’s unacceptable.

Disney has rules in place for this but simply will not enforce them. As much as they have raised prices in the last few years they could easily afford to step up to the plate and enforce them.

I believe people should be held accountable for their actions. Rude guests know what they’re doing, bullying other guests and Cast Members. Minimum of 6 month ban, could make people think twice.

Prosecution and lifetime ban. These malicious and entitled people are ruining the experience. There are children and adults for which this may be a once in a lifetime experience. Letting these”people” destroy that experience is wrong. The hard working cast members need protected. Without strong measures being taken and prosecution pursued, this condition will continue to escalate.

If Disney had dealt with bad guest behavior (ranging from line-cutting to assault) 10 years ago, I would still be a pass holder. I won’t consider visiting until they start escorting bad guests from the premises.

As a multi visit guest of the Disney Parks, I can concur with what everyone is saying. I love the parks and the experience. However, there are other guests who feel that since they have paid an admission price, that common sense and decency are no longer accepted. Disney has always been a family experience, but so many guests now feel entitled to do what they please. Once we were sitting very early on Main street for the evening parade and fireworks. With small children, we wanted to get the best and safest seat. Unfortunately, others felt they could not only in front of us — in the street— but when told to move told us to move back for them. We did not move and held our ground. This group made their way behind us, kicking at us a couple of times. To make matters worse, the parents told the kids to take our drinks and started drinking out of them. We turned around and told the parents “you must be really thirsty to steal our drinks— you may have them”.
Rude behavior is directed at guests and cast members. I am not sure how to solve this, but enforcement should let others know this is unacceptable and will not be tolerated by anyone in any way.
No magic wand will fix some people and their entitled attitude though.
