Didn’t know about the mug, but it’s cool that Disney is recognizing Anastasia and the 25th anniversary with merch.
However, I wanted to clear up part of the article: Bartok was Rasputin’s minion, not Anastasia’s animal sidekick. That would be Pooka, a dog she met right after asking for a sign on if she should go to St. Petersburg instead of the butcher job the orphanage arranged for her.
Bartok was always friendly, but he only became a “good guy” In the sense he stopped working for the villain until the sequel, IIRC.
So I have to be honest you messed up this article just a little bit. Sorry true 90’s kid who grew up from the year it came out I was only in second grade but since the first watching of the movie I was a never dieing fan still am to this day so I just have to point out where you made a boo boo so yes the story follows Anastasia as her trying to find out who she is as she only knows of what people call her so it is only until about almost to the end that she thinks her name is Anya though her new friends who are bringing her with them to Paris to claim to the Queen they have found her long lost granddaughter along the way quizzing her on her history giving her the right answers so she can sell herself as Anastasia to the Queen all she herself wishes is to find family she feels she must still have somewhere. Now here is where you messed up Bartok was friendly like yes but technically he is considered enemy as he is with Rasputin no instead of Bartok you should have instead mentioned the cute lovable Puka accompanying her and the others.
Of course as much as I am a loyal fan to both Disney and Anastasia I’m in the whole belief and always will be that just because Disney buys a company that doesn’t make the past movies of the now boughten company Disney nope sorry I’m that much of the classic Disney kind of fan Star Wars sure Disney bought the company who first created the movies but again that doesn’t make them Disney . Disney bought Marvel’s still not Disney. I think you get it though so I will end my note there
