The Fast Pass System worked. We all knew we would at least get to have three rides AND we knew both what rides and when. No combination of Lightning Lanes and Genie Plus offers these assurances. If revenue is the issue, simply reinstate the Fast Pass system and charge for it!
Iger was brought in to right the shop for the shareholders. While he does believe in the magic of Disney, his first priority will be to the company. He will bring back the magic, but he needs time to unravel Bob Paychecks knots.
We have been Platinum holders for as many years as we’ve owned DVC (2008) Our current Incredi pass is up in March 2023 and we were not going to renew. Additionally we’re going to sell 1/2 of our DVC holdings.
We typically only spend a month in FL and maybe 10 days at Disney. So for 10 1/2 months 2 annual passes never get used. Maybe not the most economical but we loved being able to spontaneously go and not do a ride but people watch and maybe catch a show. Our last trips September 2021 and March 2022 both disasters!
Igor coming back MAYBE we renew, TBD. When the magic bus was eliminated I was ready to sell out. My opinion the single biggest take away that I miss.
We also sold 1/2 of DVC. Waiting to see if they bring back annual passes before June. We have a trip plans this holiday and paid for tickets. We went march use it or lose it pints at DVC and paid for ticket. Annual pass not back by June we cancel and sell rest of DVC. Could have bought the incredi pass for four with the cost of tickets. We are not going to keep paying maintenance fees and have to pay for one day tickets too. We will be done
Start by going back to “The Disney Look”!! It’s horrible to go there and see all these tattoos, piercings, gauges and black nail polish on. Even harder to explain to your child why “that man” is wearing a dress….go woke and your shares went broke, time to return to core values!!

Recent report comparing apples to apples: It costs about $1,000 more now for a 4-days WDW trip that it did in 2018.
