Weird. The same open minded liberal globalists push for full third world immigration into low crime civilized countries, but build a theme park near them and they freak out.

    1. C.S.

      Weird take, but okay.

      1. Saoirse

Well Jarvis it appears your comment and understanding of the world outside your cousin-parent’s redneck cabin seems be extremely limited. Maybe you should go back to hunting crawdads with your toes instead.

    2. James

You don’t have any dang idea what you are talking about. Just sit down and shut up. This has nothing to do with liberals, unless you count people from Brussels. Stupid

      1. Kimber

The title says the “fans” demand closure, however what I read said its the locals that want it…

        1. Chris

And then that eventually transforms into “these two people who wrote a manifesto”. LOL

      2. David T

Chill out. Don’t you know how to debate. You’re what’s wrong with open debate. If someone else has a different idea, your answer is to “shut up” and resort to name calling. Grow up. People will have their opinions. They have every right to voice them, right or wrong. If you disagree, explain why and counter, but don’t ever think for a second that you have the right to behave like a child and try to silence them by being rude.

        1. Sam

Your 100% right and everyone could learn alot from this one comment.

        2. Sara

          Exactly!👍

      3. Brasscity

The ecology must be preserved and not taken for granted.

        1. Knox

Ecology is a branch of biology. It’s a science or study; it cannot be used as a noun lol

          I think you meant “ecosystem”.

      4. Rich

“Just sit down and shut up”…. Sounds awfully liberal of you… 🤷🏻‍♂️

        1. Tm

Hey!!! What idiot titled the story line????? It’s neighbors NOT fans!!!!

      5. Killer

How bout u kneel down and suck it libtard…… 🖕🏻

        1. TuxedoMask

I would also like to see the title of the article changed. I was confused as to why “fans” would want it closed but then realized upon reading it was just a few locals.

    3. Sarah

I absolutely agree with you, Jarvis! The hypocrisy is astounding.

      1. John

Absolutely never have a thought that might be different than the special interest groups. This what wokism is and it is disgusting. Keep your so called adult crap to yourself and away from the kids

        1. Joem

          Did you read the article?

      2. VLM

Agreeing with r*cism makes you r*cist.

        1. Collleen

          Yes

    4. VLM

R*cist. SUPER, INCREDIBLY r*cist. Newsflash, buddy: The vast majority of crimes in ANY nation are performed by its OWN CITIZENS.

      1. Collleen

        Yes

    5. JonG

3rd world immigrants dont pollute the environment, they accept a cheap wage to clean up the trash that your fat white ass disposes of at said theme park.

      1. Rosie

Well the article stated “Fans” which is not true! Every one is entitled to their own opinions I guess. After reading I do not see what the big deal is. It doesn’t seem to be harming much except the locals. Which is normal… they do not want people from all over coming to visit for this attraction. I just wish they would be honest and share their views on that instead of trying to make it about something else.

    6. Joem

      Jarvis, you are confused.

    7. Cory

And all because someone is understood and took what the author said out of context. (I had a brain fart on her name. I ket wanting to say J. R. R. Tolkien for some reason. Lol)

    8. Joe Mama

      Jarvis

Your sister/wife called and asked that you grab some milk when you get done with your shift at the Piggly Wiggly. It looks like rain on the horizon so don’t forget to put the tarp on the back half of the double wide. Yes Haw!!!

  2. Mg

Quit trying to cancel hp just because jk spits the truth

    1. Ian

Anytime something fun or entertaining comes along some morons want to get rid of it.

    2. James

Haha yeah, just tell us you are crazy and full of hate. Good job. Loser

      1. Doreen

They are not “fans” if they want it closed.

    3. VLM

JK spits out of touch hate that 8s definitively disproven by actual science. Regardless, this particular “cancelation” has NOTHING TO DO with JK Rowling AT ALL, if you would actually f***ing READ THE ARTICLE.

      1. Justin

Aren’t you just a special little person! Don’t forget your helmet. You left it in your seat on the short bus.

        1. Sarah

Leave the short bus, and helmet, comments out of this. Be mindful of those around you. I understand if you disagree, but watch the bs you say in return that brings in other people that have nothing to do with it.

      2. BillBraskey

        “Science???”
😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣🤣🤣 Give me a break you clown! 🤡🤡🤡
        (Actual biologist here)
And anything to do with Harry Potter has to do with JK, wether it was the reason given or not.

        1. Mike

You’re stupid, and if you’re actually “a biologist,” i can only imagine your field of expertise is in organic stupidity.

          1. Docter Steve Brule

I’m a doctor too, just like Droctor Brill Bracker up there. It’s just real science, YA NUT.

            For your health!

          2. Rosie

            Ha ha ha good one

        2. Sonia Dembosky

Actual biologist my ass you dog. You don’t even know how gender identity works. Being a biologist isn’t important. What is, is understanding the human psyche.
Hi. I’m a psychologist. Trans men and women are real. Yeah, biologically they’re male or female respectively. But their gender identity is separate. Please, from me, someone who also studies humans and how they work, study more.

      3. Cory

No one knows real science anymore, everyone believes the pseudo science nonsense that says there are “gay genes” in our bodies and that being a trans woman makes you a real woman.

        1. Harrypottersucks

          Y’all lame

    4. Cory

Exactly. Why are people listening and believing someone who took something out of context l, and misunderstood everything Rowling has said?

  3. Mandi

Um, fans aren’t demanding, locals and environmentalists are. Did the author read his own article?

    1. Sarah

I’ve been amazed with how bad spelling and grammar are now in online news articles. I’m guessing they are saving money with spending less on editing.

      1. Shell

Yes,and a good portion are just copying and pasting posts from social media. And then having ads pop up while you’re trying to type a comment. I’ll be honest I have horrible grammar at times, but then I wouldn’t make a news article without having someone edit it for me before posting.

  4. MarMar

    Climate Karens are the worste.

  5. Stacey

If they looked up the site the environmental impact issue has been addressed before the sites opened across the world. “ Were any trees or animals affected by this Experience?
The vast majority of the overall woodland will remain completely untouched by the experience and should have minimal impact to natural habitats. Working in conjunction with the estate manager, any sapling trees that are removed for the event will be replaced within the wood system with species benefiting the overall health of the wood. Therefore, we will not reduce the woodland, but look to increase the number of heritage species on the estate as a whole.”

  6. 🤑📈💰💲😞👎👎

  7. Tef

This people are complete morons! I visited the one in Virginia and it’s nothing like they describe, it was nicely setup and is not going to impact the woods eo nature any more than any normal hiking trail. God help us from people like this! I’m sure there are extremists like this in the USA who feel this way about the two Forbidden Forests here.

  8. Bxmamipr712

I went to the one in VA and it is seriously just lights, like 3 figures and a few flat screens. It is in no way a theme park. It’s about a 25min walk down a path, and a small village with a few booths that sell food, drinks, and merch. They aren’t doing anything to the forest. It sounds like this guy needs to get a life.

  9. Cindy Pittser

Went to the one in Leesburg VA, USA. The environment was not damaged at all that I could see. I did not hear any generators. Maybe the UK needs to get better generators. We enjoyed it so much we want to make it a yearly event including more family and friends each year.

    1. VLM

Brussels isn’t in the UK, you know. It’s in BELGIUM.

    2. Nicholas Boyd

Is it possible that living behind it might give you a different take on what it’s doing to your neighborhood than simply visiting it one time?
I bet you never even visited that area before this was put up so you have absolutely no idea what has changed.

  10. Jay

I can almost guarantee you this is more to do with religious reasons that anything else smh.

    1. VLM

I doubt it. Very few religions give a cr*p about diesel generators. This likely has FAR more to do with “GET OFF MAH LAWN!” crankiness.

  11. Melissa

I actually attended one in my area in New York and it has been very successful so far. It is located at one of the known state parks, specifically a hiking trail they chose for the event however no plants have been harmed whatsoever. It is very beautiful to see and I’m glad I got to experience this event.

  12. Michael Kaiser

Of course they started worrying only when the problem is near them while ignoring this same problem that’s happening literally everywhere else in the world

    1. Nicholas Boyd

Yes, just like the rest of the normal and sane people in the world.

  13. BillBraskey

No, not fans, psycho alphabet people and their liberal handlers.

    1. Nicholas Boyd

But those are the same exact type of people that Disney has bent the knee to long ago.

I’m surprised these people are seen as Uber liberal though. I see nothing wrong with wanting to stop a massive entity like Disney from profiting by destroying my beautiful and natural landscape. Keep in mind that this isn’t in the US.

    2. Rachel

Liberals as you know them don’t really exist in that part of Brussels. Guessing you believe everything revolves around you and your own country where the phrase right wing is synonymous with sleeping with your sister.

  14. Cliff Mueller

Maybe neighbors should have thought about that before they let their power’s that be let them in, otherwise deal with it or you could always sell your place to someone who would love to live next to Harry Potter

    1. Datura

These people stand to make a fortune with airbnb’s

  15. Tom Jones

The fans are demanding nothing! The locals, maybe, depending on how many are actually up in arms. Sounds more like a seasonal hiking trail than a Walt Disney World theme park and resort.

  16. Tina

Instead of wasting there time complaining, they need to go get there brain checked out…

  17. ZachH

    What a terrible title.

Locals are demanding it close. Although some of them may be fans it has nothing to do with the Fandom.

  18. Biden’s Empty Head

Liberal snowflakes melting is never not funny. Nature will be preserved there soy-powered cucks.

  19. Nicholas Boyd

Disney is very liberal and woke so they should have no problem understanding that this country wants to preserve their natural landscape. I’m sure they’ll comply quickly.

    1. Shell

This has nothing to do with Disney.

  20. Celina

I just disagree with the title of the “article” saying it’s fans that are demanding closure. From what I read these 2 people are not self proclaimed fans, and article even says something like “you might like it if you’re a fan of HP, but not the locals…”

    1. Zeke

Weird, the one outside of D.C. in Virginia costs at least $65 bucks a shot. How come Brussels gets “magic” for $25?! Also, apparently the area they have it set up in didn’t seem to have an “issues” that I heard about.

  21. Katherine

Poor little whineads muffins need to go back into their little bubbles and stay there til they wont be offended by anything

  22. Mark

Funny it says sans demand closure but it looks like a huge ploy for grabs after reading the story looks like locals are complaining not fans!

  23. Sherylynn

Oh my goodness- cry about it! So, locals are freaking out, not fans? And not over the financial benefit it gives them, but of the nature it’s not destroying? Got it. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I think it’s a great idea!

  24. Steve

And once again those stupid environmentalists want to destroy everything that’s fun. Go so something useful with your life.

  25. Leadbones

No fans, only complaining neighbors. Wow. Aging residents throw stones at unwelcome newcomers. Not even a story, but a meaningless given, with a lie for a title. I hate you, and what you represent.

  26. Chris

This article just made me want to visit this theme park. I am going to probably buy tickets for it now. All news is good news I guess!

  27. rhonda

Seems no one posting “opinions” has actually done any research to any of the claims made by Ed Aguila. This article has some serious and doubtful truth to it. The location of this park & its landscape was from a permanetly closed castle & veiwing it on Google maps you can see that unless people have bats hearing, the noise produced from generators could not be an issue, also, the park adopted the already landscape so there wasn’t a need to tear down or demolish anything. Sounds like this article had a $ paid voice that wanted to deliberately give it a false negative image. Advice to people posting their “opinions”. Educate yourself with alittle research before just spitting out your own biased emotions. Another words, don’t be so gullable & naive.

  28. F

    Besides the generators.

  29. David

    Just garbge ‘reporting’

  30. AskYoMoM

Y’all all super lame for arguing in the comments hardly potter sucks. I only wasted my time reading this article because I had to take a dump. All y’all arguing over stuff people read while pooping. Lame.

  31. AskYoMoM

Y’all all super lame for arguing in the comments hardly potter sucks. I only wasted my time reading this article because I had to take a dump. All y’all arguing over stuff people read while pooping. Lame.

    1. Sara

Your brain must have dropped in the toilet while you were pushing out that excrement lol. Why would you post the same comment twice or feel the need to broadcast to the world you were using the toilet lol. Well I guess maybe you do fit right in here with the clientele, so you do have that going for your image.

  32. Qasoran Jones

I agree that it is a smelly, noisy, pollutant leaky menace. And it’s skewed design should be realigned with less offensive engineering and more nature preservation prioritising. Nature can find a home in it if we try.

  33. Na

I would fix the title…title says fans demand the closure of the park… but it’s really residents of the town that want it closed… what kind of half ass job is this? The title doesn’t even match the article 🤦‍♂️
