Don’t ever take anything out of a guests hands you moron after they’ve bought with they’re own money unless you tell them why first and they still have the choice to say yes or no
Are you okay with someone going out with a defective item? The CM’s can’t break show and say “it’s broken.” They will say, “I’ll be right back with it.” Which you can hear him say in the video. Even the guest was confused with the color it displayed. It was quite clear it wasn’t supposed to be yellow. Indicating it’s malfunction.
I tried follow along with what the worker said and couldn’t because the other voice was too loud. I did however search comments to find out what he said (as It kept making me download TikTok to see what happened). People can also be hard of hearing, there is no need for one (intelligence) to follow the other (speculation).
Just like Rian Johnson stole from all of us with the dreadful Last Jedi, it’s likely this was his doing also. Disney stole from the whole Star Wars community. Somebody shut them down.
they take anything out of my hand someone is getting there ass beat especially after i pay almost 300 for a piece of crap i ordered a lightsaber off of korbanth.com high quality lightsabers an durable
Actually not a malfunction, you can have it turn yellow with a diffrent gem I have one of those, and it’s an extra 20 bucks you buy at the shop….it was not originally one of the primary colors offered to you when making a light saber. Purple, red, blue and green…so yea…im sure the gem has nothing to do with it…but just an extra charge to milk the starwars experience
The amount of effort it would have taken to have some customer service here was minimal, but they were so concerned about having a perfect reputation that they decided theft was the way to go here (it was theft even if they intended to replace it, as it was paid for).
The extreme rudeness of just yanking something from someone’s hand is just appalling. Are they children? Do they have no respect? I work retail, and in no world would I just reach over and take something that was paid for by a customer without expressly talking with them first and obtaining permission to help them by doing so.
You clearly have no clue what goes on inside there then. Because he was polite, and had to take care of a defective item. Regular retail doesn’t happen inside when a show is also taking place. The CM said he’d be right back. It was clear from the video there was a defect in the item. It displayed the wrong color. The CM came over, and had to make a repair. If an item is defective, it must be taken care of. You explained you work in retail. Would you knowingly let a defective item be sold and let the guest walk out with it? Or would you replace the broken item? Because the CM didn’t steal it. He fixed it, and brought it out like he said he would. The video didn’t care to explain it gets brought right back out after the issue is addressed.
Y’all are sheep he said in the video he’d be right back with it they’re actors they can’t break character and say the product they’re selling is broken morons
So let’s start from the beginning. You don’t get to look at the sabers before you build them you pick from a card. My son and little brother had picked the two that I would have preferred so I picked from the remaining two. They where low on stock so the choices where limited. Once inside we got to pick kyber crystals and I let my daughter pick the crystal. She chose green. We assembled our light sabers from parts in a tray they set in front of us. I already didn’t like the brown or the choices but I already paid and I was there so I assembled my saber how I thought it looked best. And to do that I changed the back of the switch piece. I set it down and they did their show, they inserted the hilts into the blade tube or whatever it was and we all turned them on at the same time. I lifted mine out of the tray and it was yellow. Unexpected? Yes. Excited I was. The sad lightsaber that I had built that I wasn’t super into all of a sudden became the coolest and with the show it just added to it. You can hear me shout out in joy (almost embarrassing how high pitched) “it’s yellow” and the lead cast member was still giving a spiel about the galaxy when the employee behind me walked up and tried to take my saber from me. I of course wouldn’t let go. He pulled and twisted and told me it was broken and he had to fix it. I told him I was fine with it and I liked it the way it was. We argued for a while until he finally told me I could just purchase a yellow crystal. It was only then that I let go. Slowly… he brought it back fixed it lit up green and I was upset. I didn’t like it he didn’t offer to help me get a yellow crystal only that there was a manager outside waiting for me. I went outside and no manager. I walked around until I found a cast member and they kindly pointed me in the direction of where I could buy yellow kyber crystals. I then spent more money on the toy to complete the experience I paid $750 to enjoy with my son and brother and have it smashed in my face. I ordered the piece that they told me I couldn’t mix off eBay and I now have the saber that I built at Sabii’s workshop. It just cost me more and my experience ruined. Hope this sums it up. My wife never thought her nerdy husband getting upset about his lightsaber would go viral. But here we are I hope you found humor in all of this after all I will just by neo sabers from now on.
I can understand your frustration, lets say for instance your lightsaber turned on white and not the cool yellow, and they didnt fix your saber to show the color gem you picked. Would you have been happy? What if the saber stopped working completely in a day because they didnt fix the issue? Also i feel your tickitty toks are disengenuous to the scenario. You got it back, lighting up the right color gem you picked. Could they haven given you a free yellow gem? Sure, but they wouldnt be obligated. Also you get to see the pieces available for each style prior to choosing.
HA HA he looked so crushed at the end. 😂 Poor baby 😢 Need someone to wipe that childish tear away?
Please. GROW UP! You’re what? Like 30 something and playing with lightsabers like the 3 year old right beside you? How pathetic.
People don’t realize there are more than green, blue, purple and red lightsabers in the lore. Defective or not it looked f ing cool. Defective or not. I paid for it. He shouldn’t have grabbed it from me the way he did.
First problem, grown adults using a kid’s play place as a vacation. Second problem, there’s a reason Padawans are children, they don’t talk back. Third problem, he took it to fix it… No story here.
That is stupid to take away a lightsaber from a Disney fan and I think that cast member needs to return it immediately before he gets fired from his position and not able to return until he gives back the lightsaber, I think Disney might terminate him for that ridiculous scene he committed
As a previous guest at the workshop I want to explain how the experience actually happens. You get to pick your color crystal and build the saber of your choice that you can feel and touch the parts outside to see how the parts will look and they also have a picture card thing where you pay. Someone had a lightsaber that didn’t light up so the worker quickly rushed over to get it fixed. I know yellows cool but I think he was making sure you got the color you wanted. And you do get to see the parts. He was trying to help and now he’s getting so much hate for just doing his job
Didn’t really go that bad. He got a yellow kyber crystal (which you’re suppose to buy separately) and then he got the Saber back with the crystal cover missing. That’s all.

If there’s one thing Disney excels at, it’s crushing the dreams of Star Wars fans.

Oy! After someone has paid that much for a product you DO NOT take it without explaining WHY! Explain what’s going on.
Sheesh!

Yeah, I heard him explain as well. Obviously, the customer just wanted views and likes of his video by committing pertinent info.

The only people that read the articles on this website are from the right. Do you think they actually understand logic and common sense? Lol

That’s what you get with cut rate cast members, guest service and the goal being money only – oh and a teen “mustache and beard”.

Strong in the force this guest was but no that strong.
