Wow, now they are screwing the men and women who have sacrificed so much for our freedoms. Block out the holidays! Why would they want to spend the holidays with their families? Totally BS move Disney!

Well I am a U.S. Army VET & I live next to Ft. Rucker & I know that alot of Vets of all services & Active Duty of all services that are here (Army Aviation Training Center) already knows about what is going out there and they are not happy!

Wait, Who is being screwed over? Are our military entitled to these discounts or do they accept them as a matter of thanks for their service. Sure sounds like they feel entitled to the discount.
    Shame

In some ways yes they do they are protecting you and you should be thankful!

Of course Scott is here! How do you feel holding the bag?

Why would you fo this to the men and women who have served or are serving this country? Shame on you Disney! While you continue to raise prices for everyone, why not make sure that whatever discount Disney employees get, comes to an abrupt halt!? Pay the prices that the general public have to pay and block out dates for you as well and see how that goes over!

Hark! Do I hear the distant cry of the Dependa’s?

As for me and my family, we appreciate any discounts offered by any business or company. Since any one or all of them do not have to offer anything “special”. You have a choice to accept or reject doing business with any of them.

    Why does this surprise anyone?
    Penny-pinchin’ Bob strikes again.
Gotta collect every cent, even if it means taking away a few dollars from those who keep/kept our country safe.

The writer needs to do their homework. This is not the first time WDW has implemented “black out” dates. Look at the expiration dates each year. The tickets were never useable during the Christmas holidays. In most years in the past the Easter season was blacked out because the turnstile were always busy with spring breakers. Thanksgiving, too. It’s all dependent on projected attendance.
I’ve taken advantage of the military promotional tickets many times. I appreciate Disney’s offering even if I have to avoid the busiest times of the year which is just fine with me.
