WTF is “Child Bonding Leave” –
    You mean Maternity Leave???
This website is so woke its ridiculous. Love the update when Iger spoke yesterday – like we needed a LBGKEIPOGHIOEUOIU++++ update at the end…like that is gonna change..

This isn’t just referring to persons who have birthed children, but also persons who might be fostering / adopting children.

  2. Bill

    Eff all labor unions.

    1. Gassy Bubba

      No Sir. Eff you.
You have no idea what Disney would do to employees without the unions.

      We do.

      1. MarMar

You don’t have to work there.

  3. Gary

Go get Iger, “Guys & Gals” have Iger go the way Chapek had to go you are the backbone of Disney without you and all your yrs of experience for most of you Disney would be nothing. Come up with names of people who would run Disney the way Walt did & Roy did with help by the right people & Imagineers. Then and only then Disney will get back on the right track. Pass it on to everyone who is a big Walter Elias Disney fan then you will help most of the Disney family my cousins!

Now let us all remember when about 5 people protesting “forced” Disney to endorse child grooming in government schools as they respond to these demands.

Better Disney groom than those Youth Pastor groomers… (wink)

      1. Steve

Oh nick! Did they let you our again? I Ber the sheriff is tired of the baker acts by now. Do you get a little card with stamps on it?

        1. Bert

          You complete me Stevala!

    2. Sadie

The Disney magic is so gone.

      1. Gassy Bubba

        And you killed it.

  5. Bert

Better Disney grooming than those Youth Pastors grooming!

    1. MarMar

      Grooming by anyone is gross.

The $ 1.00 an hour increase was a joke. Chapek was making tens of millions, and he offered a dollar.
I don’t know if what Chapek did to soften the losses at Disney + was illegal, but it sure was unethical. Don’t pay the remainder of his contract and give decent raises to the people who truly make vacations magical (if that word even applies to Disney anymore).

  7. Don

Great comment. All officers at Disney should be asking themselves what would Walt do before taking actions. Walk would never have tolerated the book actions of current management.

  8. Stephanie

Thank you for sharing! Honest work deserves good work contracts. In Solidarity!

  9. Jennie

    $1 over 5 years is 20 cents a year.

Give him Iger that and no more

The article states the contact was a per hour per year for five years , I worked for a company for 44 years and only received that much raise one time during the time

I laugh at these so called “Cast Members”. Everyone in the Company knows these people are Disney heads and will work for peanuts just to keep their jobs. They will continue to be paid slave wages as long as they show their complete desire and love to be employed by Disney. If they were smart, every Disney employee would quit. But they won’t and the Company knows it. Plus, if they quit, there are 10,000 others willing to take their place for slave wages.

    1. Gassy Bubba

      First off. Eat a D!ck.

Cast members are humans and they work for Disney for many different reasons. It’s not always about drinking the kool aid.

If 10000 are waiting to come work for Disney where are they? Disney was offering 1000 to 3000 dollar hiring bonuses and no one showed up.

You’re the type of guest who leaves trash on the table when done eating. Trash on the ground d while in line, trash the bathrooms and fail to wash your hands, and all the while complain about it being dirty and the magic being gone because a cast member doesn’t coddle your complaints after you talk about them being worthless.

Do the world a favor and the next time you’re on Big Thunder mountain.. stand up.

    Nothing about reduced mandatory overtime?

Housekeeping works mandatory 6 days a week 75% the year and when they have injuries or get sick it’s on THEM, not their horrible leadership like Jasmine at Art of Animation.

  12. When I reach the age of retirement, I plan to sell my house. My Husband and I have decided this together. I have been sending in resume’s like crazy! I have a few degrees and have tailored my resume’s to each job that I am qualified to do. I have a very strong chemistry background. But, as I first started writing. By the time we retire and relocate. I’d be more than happy to be a greeter! I do not care what the pay will be. If I cannot have the jobs I have been applying for, I’d be happy to be a greeter. We do not have children and our savings and retirement looks good. As long as things go accordingly. I will get my dream!

    1. Besides I write greeting, bereavement cards. My main job is as a CPA. I can live anywhere to make my living.

Unions are going to destroy this company and the park experience for consumers.

    1. A

Sadly that’s what most unions do. That and line their pockets.

  14. DH

The Worse Union in the World for Cast Members
