When the characters are doing photos they do kinda rush people if there is a long line, which their probably was being it was Minnie. I bet she would have gotten a different reaction if she wasn’t doing pictures and just walking around.
Third person in line, at the beginning of a 30 minute exchange for Minnie… I am sure that the character was needing to get through as many interactions as possible, as quickly as possible. Being the “3rd in line” means nothing considering how many people were waiting and wanting to see her. You move the interactions along quickly to get to as many guests as possible in that 30 minutes.
Wait a minute. She said she waited for hours to see Minnie. Then she said she was 3rd in line, so Minnie shouldn’t have been rushed. Which is it? Characters don’t always have time for a long interaction with each guest. Other guests are waiting too. Also, spoiler alert, that’s a human inside of her who has real feelings. Maybe it’s hot, maybe they’re ill, maybe it’s past their break.
because of the heat, most characters arent out more than 15 minutes b4 leaving……….Another person ( I believe) then comes out in a minute or so to take over…….No reason for a character to treat anyone mean……….Bad day or not, they are playing a role so put on a happy face till your time is done
Okay, I’m going to go there. These are CAST MEMBERS dressed as characters. If you’re over the age of maybe ten, there is no reason to get ridiculously excited to meet them. Or to dress like them. Or to wait on line for any length of time to interact with them. Once you accept that fact, your visits to Disney will be much happier and less stressful. I stopped spending any amount of time meeting characters once my kids got old enough to not want/need to do so, and the only time I now do it is if I’m in a restaurant and the characters are walking around to the tables doing meets and greets.
I agree 100%. People believe everything revolves around them. These characters must see many, many truly special kids. Wearing a dress does not make you one of them.
100% right! This person is obviously a product of the Participation Trophy generation. People who as kids had everything handed to them, and who still think the world exists to serve and please them. Maybe Minnie is just tired of all the “influencers” and “vloggers” taking her time up that she could be spending with kids.
I think this woman is in need of mental help! It’s a person in character who isn’t allowed to talk or interact more than taking a photo , a high five or a wave! Grow up weirdo !
Imagine being a grown ass woman and crying because “Minnie Mouse” (who is a REAL person under a foam head) didn’t pay enough attention to your outfit.
There are women dying in Iran, Krystal. But go off about how Minnie wasn’t magical.
The “women dying in Iran, get over it” is exactly the same tired story that parents tell kids to eat their veggies because people are starving in China. Get over yourself. There will always be people in the world suffering and dying. YOU need to grow up and get over yourself with such a lame comment. This woman paid top dollar for a magical experience and deserves just a little of it, especially as the third person in line.
You really don’t have a point. People should respect the food they have, because not all people are fortunate. In addition, no grown adult, top dollar or not, should be whining because a human in a costume didn’t make them feel special. They ate there for legitimate kids, not 35 year old toddlers. We were there in October and my daughter was dressed to the toes like Jack Skellington. She’s 3, and he didn’t pay much attention to her despite her efforts to get his attention. She was still overly thrilled and had a great time. There is no defense for this woman….at all.
Do these kids get that these are paid employees wearing a costume? Many employees working in these parks in sometimes gruelling outdoor conditions interact with thousands (not hundreds) of guests a day. Every guest thinks they are unique and individual when the sad truth is there are millions just like you. It’s a blurred sea of humanity. Sad truth.
Oh my; Minni Mouse didn’t give her enough attention and make a big deal over the special dress the lady wore to impress Minni Mouse….
If Minni Mouse recognized that the lady who wore the special dress had special needs, I think the lady would have received the attention she so desperately needed…
Cast member here. And Disney fan and adult disney fan I have spent almost every other day at the park one year and often spent the rest of the day after a shift. To think that you have an expectation of how it’s going to go down, you already set yourself up for failure. The Literally states the same reasons she wants the picture – and that’s the same reason Minnie jeede to go too more than likely. You were ina. Dress. Minnie is in a 40 pound outfit much bigger than human. And the are HOT like lose 5 pounds an hour drink lots of fluids hot. The very fact that you felt you had to “notify” is of how it went down and you “gracious” explaining. Are BS. Next time you’re at work and have to interact with someone that’s annoyingly excited to see you when you’re not having it.
