Yeah no its the worst, I didn’t pay all that money to listen to some amateur recite lines. I want to listen to the real deal. Stop repeating the lines and be courteous of others.
It really has been a while since I’ve been there! I don’t recall this being a “thing.” I do think it’s disrespectful, but then again, it doesn’t matter. People do what they want. I’d be annoyed with someone speaking the lines more than the singing. Let me hear the cast member or the actor read the script, not Gladys from Des Moines.
And how about getting rid of those big a** strollers and allowing only umbrella strollers…. including for rental.
I got so tired of getting hit by folded strollers on busses, and getting hit by strollers because the parents were in a hurry and not watching where they were going (Although one time was a genuine accident…and the poor lady couldn’t stop apologizing even though she had nothing to apologise for, and I told her just that. )

It’s one thing to sing snippets, it’s another to do it line-by-line, verbatim. One of them is an act of love, another is incredibly rude.
