No, they have rip ride rocket, That’s a roller coaster and there’s no emotion simulator and I have a garage may not be real rods that besides the motion similar rides like Simpsons transformers. They have The men in black, the ET wide another smaller rods which aren’t really real rods why have a escape from Gringots that is certainly Not a motion simulator ride
This article is regarding the Mummy ride in California not Florida. Universal Studios Hollywood does not have as many rides or room that they do in Orlando.
I was just at universal in Florida and the mummy ride is alive and well, even enjoyed the ride a few times. The ride is still in the soft opening phase meaning it’s not officially open from the time the part opens to close but sporadically during the day.
Yeah, I’m sure someone with a lot of business savvy wrote this article. It does make a lot of sense to scrap a ride that Universal just invested a couple million dollars refurbishing — and it also makes a lot of sense for Universal to scrap one of their most popular rides in that park.
The ride is open at universal Hollywood. Do not forget though that Orlando just had a major upgrade to the electronic ride systems. There is indeed an age gap between the construction dates of these rides. That would mean that there is also a gap in contractual updates and maintenance contracts for both attractions. It would make sense for one to get something and then the other does. It would also make sense that it could just be preliminary upgrades to the system in preparation for a more major update in the future. Orlando also did that prior to the main long term shutdown for refurbishment. According to a few people I know at Universal Hollywood this is most likely the case.
I’ve been going to USH almost weekly because I live close. The Revenge of the Mummy was not closed. This article was published on Oct 19th. I was there on Oct 19th, and it was open.

That ride is pretty much the only real ride they have.. everything else is just a motion-video ride

Ty! I hadn’t caught the Cali part and was thinking “I was just on that ride on the 16th, am I going crazy!?” Lol

Juan, you may have misread the article. This is about the park in California. Not Florida

We’ve ridden it several times in Sept. This article is ridiculous.

Even then, the story is still ridiculous as many people have rode the ride at Hollywood very recently
Anaz
I just rode this today in Universal Studio Hollywood

I’m looking at the app right now and it has a 80min wait so I think, and this is just an educated guess, that it’s open

100 million rides? It opened in 2004, that’s 15k a day. Not possible
Cuyo
I would love E.T. to return back to Hollywood! I never got to ride it there.
