Let’s be more equitable. Everyone wait in the same line for the same time. Period. If you can make it from the car to the gate to the ride, you can wait in the line. I am tired of special entitled snowflakes. Everyone has something going on.

you have read the Americans with Disabilities Act before? Are you so out of it, you have no clue?

Everyone waits, even people with a DAS. The only difference is they don’t wait in the line, they wait in the park. So let me ask you about this. I have Crohn’s and because of it I am eligible for a DAS. I never know when I must run to the restroom. If I wait on a 2 hour line and then an attraction (sometimes another 10 to 15 minutes), I might not make it. But, if I can use the restroom, then head to the ride, I should be good for those 15 minutes. Should I have waited an hour and then leave wasting that hour? Should I leave and have my family stay on line and then cut through to get back to them 15+ minutes later? Crohn’s and other things are not visible. We don’t know when it will strike. It is bad enough risking going on to a ride where I won’t be able to get off, now you want me to wait on a line.

Exactly, but some people will never understand unless it happens to them or someone they know and the person you responded to likely won’t care until they are personally affected.

As for the DAS, before it was a DAS, they used to provide a more permanent option, but people started using it to make money at the time (it worked a lot differently then) and led to a lot of abuse. So, renewals are a necessity, even if we don’t like to deal with it and I think they have hit a good compromise with how long they are valid for.

It doesn’t take an hour to walk into the park. You also can take breaks on benches and stop to relax when you need to. The lines don’t provide any place to sit for minute if you need to.

But I CAN’T make it from the car in the parking lot to the ride. So where does the line get drawn?

I agree that getting the pass renewed is a hassle. Sometimes it takes hours on hold to get in touch with a cast member to have a video chat to renew. The other option is to renew at the park. There should be an option for a permanent or yearly DAS pass.

    1. You’re stupid

There will never be an option for that due to terms and conditions changing all the time. Wait the time to talk or shut up. Maybe stop ghosting them when they do reply to you 🤷🏼‍♀️

My husband has several physical problems and cannot wait in line. For those of you complaining, it would make your wait MUCH longer if we were in line with you because we are SLOW. He also often has to make frequent bathroom stops. It’s often difficult for him to even walk from the car into the park. We go to Disney for relaxation and exercise. This is our therapy. If Disney handles the DAS properly, there is no room for abuse. We wait our turn for the attractions; we just don’t stand in the line. We often experience only 2-3 attractions per visit, including shows. Those of you who are healthy, be thankful and get over it. Pray that you do not become disabled as you get older.
