I went to Disneyland alone in 2019 because I simply had no one else to go with me…. that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t want to take a girlfriend with me, however. Schedules can be worked out for large groups of people or families. they can always split up and meet together later.
Only go to WDW and DL solo for all the reasons listed in the article. Literally walked on Millennium Falcon using the Single Riders Lane. Also ride Everest back to back several times with only a couple of minutes waiting using Single Riders Lane.
Me and my friends love using single rider. It’s a great way to do rides tons of times. We have this big group of like 10 people doing rides over and over, it is amzing.
I have gone several times on a solo trip and loved it. I did feel guilty because I was enjoying myself without my niece & nephew (my travel companions).
The characters come to your table more often when they see you are alone.
Easier to get dining and ride seats. Except that now guests (especially in CA) use the solo line too and there are more solo riders because of this. It makes the perk not as good.
Have done many solo trips and they are the best. Do what i want, when i want and not have to worry about anyone else. All of the cm’s have been nice to me even being a disabled person using a scooter my last two trips to wdw in 2019 and 2021 with using the bus service too
