I think marvel might be wise to cast all unknowns taking the time to unite four people that have chemistry yet attitude yet. Sympathy and even strength that can even show that they are a family because through family and love all succeeds fantastic. Four was always strong on that in the comics.

It would be great to introduce each member separately during Some of Marvel’s Siri’s like She Hulk, Echo, etc…. Explain why the team has broken up

They should test pilot a series season one of fantastic 4 to hype up the characters with some popular support cast for new fresh talent. Many of the characters have been gone too long from the big screen and previous movies seem like they have not had much success except maybe the first movie with jessica alba .

Not all four were scientists. Two were, Susan and Reed, but Ben was Reed’s college roommate and pilot and Jonny was Sue’s brother who just came along.

Originally, in the comics, Sue wasn’t a scientist either, as I recall.

I think Marvel Comics should do the Fantastic Four movie (2026/2027) as a prequel that occurs prior to the infinity saga, but have them return in time for the Secret Wars film as if they got back just briefly before.

The Fantastic Four film can be just like the reboot in the comics with the four separate and reunite then as they are called in for an emergency by Nick Fury and Ms. Marvel letting them in on a deep space crisis that young Professor X warns Fury about with his telepathy from on board the Starjammers ship with Lilandra. Reed is now aware of mutants existence in the MCU.

Start with the four of them going off on different missions and coming back in time to have to save the Universe via a mission in deep space. When heading out Franklin Richards is born in time and protects them from Thanos snap. OR
Alternately the team could be returning in a space ship when Franklin is born, and Sue and Reed stay onboard as Grimm and Torch snap away.
As they are in returning towards Earth, Reed and Sue spend five years raising Franklin onboard while trying to determine if it is safe to return to earth, during this time they discover the existence of celestials, the Shiar, Skrulls, the Brood, and others. Returning to consult with Stark, Night Thrasher, and Suri.
When suddenly Torch and Grimm reappear in the spaceship just a short while before reaching Earth.
There are crazy readings about the unsnap, kang, mutants, and galactus that they don’t get to address before they are whisked away into secret wars. The movie should be out in 2026 or 2027 as the ultimate prequel of the Fantastic Four.
They will have been participating in the other films phase 5 & 6 films already. ( I would like to see Chris Evans recast in his role as the Human Torch. )
I think it would be a fun way to bring him back into the MCU as a completely different character.

This should end where Mr. Fantastic goes back in time to the 2000’s and gets a job at a paper company In Pennsylvania.

I am not reading ANYTHING RYAN NORTH WRITES. His last book was Squirrel Girl. And he turned her into a special needs preteen. No thanks. Ryan North is pizzpoor.

Any deviation from the original Lee-Kirby conception will be to me a sacrilege and for me, waste of time so I’d pass. If they can honor the creators and capture just a portion of that original magic, I’d really look forward to this.

Introducing ff as individual characters and bringing them together near the end of the movie is an awesome idea. Introducing the protagonist in the same way then coming together to deal with him/her. I would LOVE to see that on the big screen.

Marvel Studios ought to make the Fantastic Four be from Wakanda, because why wouldn’t Wakanda have an advanced space exploration program? And Doctor Doom can epitomize the colonizer archetype.
