An Alligator swimming in a pond, with Disney's Beach Club Logo and an image of the state of Florida greenscreened over the water.

Yes. About 17 years ago soon after the villas opened there was one in the same waterway.

I couldn’t give you a number that I’ve seen, but generally these were almost all at night and in Bay Lake. Also, generally speaking, if there’s a body of fresh water in Florida, chances are an alligator has already made it their home.

I saw an alligator as I was walking on the walkway next to the water in Frontierland. I alerted a cast member who had me watch the gator until she could alert the wildlife people.

I have lived in Florida a majority of my life and I have known this. Every lake , river , and pond is gator infested. Which is why every time my family stayed at Fort Wilderness I stayed away from Bay Lake because I’m not an idiot.

We were just there and saw him just floating around for a few days. They had a trap set, but I guess he was smarter and stayed away from it.
