I am a Disney fanatic, but refuse to go and wait in lines for rides, with times of 2 hours, or pay the Lightning lane price and wait an hour. You must have money to burn!
My Disney Stock is 1/2 or what it was in 2021, and they are making record $$$$.
Pay the $500, Greedy Bob Chapek loves people like you, with his million+ salary, you can take care of him.
But Disney was built on being Family friendly? What happened to that?
When you see how crowded the parks are, they could easily make the tickets $250 and it probably wouldn’t dent the attendance. I am a “free market” gal, and people have spoken. They don’t care about price increases since they keep on going.
I truly believe NOTHING will stop the adults who never quite grew up and still have the brains of children only with cash. I KNOW Disney will always be crowded no matter what! I hope they raise the prices to $950.00 per day in the parks. They will get it. People will still go. It will still be crowded. So I really hope they just do it.
Crazy people will
Still go. I guess it’s nice to have nothing better to do with your money. But give it to money making company like Disney. So there CEO’s can make millions .
Why are so many people willing to pay outrageous prices to enter the parks. Don’t go and let Disney squirm until they have to lower prices.
Let’s get rid of Chapek he’s the villain
I’m shocked to read some of the commentary expressing no displeasure of the price increase and stating they would pay even more. I am an individual who makes very good money and is single with no children. I go to Walt Disney World an average of 3 times per year. I typically go with my mum and pay for her ticket and stay at the JW Marriot Hotel, just a 10-minute drive from the parks. I pay for that too. With that said, I cannot imagine how I could afford to go multiple times a year if I was married or had a partner and had children. It most likely would always have to be a one-time trip each year or not at all, especially if one plans to visit other places or family far away. To be honest, it makes me sad to think that most kids will not get to experience Disneyland (I grew up in LA) the way I did because of costs. I was blessed enough to be able to go with my mum every year for my birthday and then other times in the year with our whole family (btw I’m 35, for reference). We got to eat at the parks, and we got souvenirs too. I realize people can have self-serving thoughts about these price increases with the expectation it’ll weed most individuals out and create a better park experience. However, in my opinion, I find the experience to be less than what you would expect for such prices, the happiness and gratitude of the guests aren’t there as much, instead replaced by resentment and stress, and the magic that was always there with every visit is dwindling to the point of being almost non-existent. I truly and desperately hope that with such a price increase (or any continued price increase) Disney balances costs out with more perks, magical experiences, or at least payment plans for guests. I have noticed if you pay with PayPal, there is a Pay Later option, which never used to be there.
I disagree with price increases, but there are people paying $1000 on up to see Music Concerts, football games, MLB tickets now.
It is a world for the privilege, I do not see the sense of such high pricing to have a vacation that is supposed to be fun, relaxing, instead of a mad house crowding.
As a former cast member and one who used to visit DisneyWorld 2-3 times per year when i was no longer a cast member (paying full proce), I am totally disgusted with the greed of Disney. DisneyWorld has gone downhill for years and the experience is anything but magical. I defunded Disney about 10 years ago due to the changes in ticket prices and ridiculousness of the drastic change in experience.
Good Luck! Maybe if everyone would boycott Disney they would get the picture!
Inflation is understandable… Operating costs, and the cost of earning a living goes up with capitalism and inflation. However, this is GREED!!! There is no reason to raise the costs more than 2% since the COVID 19 pandemic!!!!
Walt Disney is rolling in his frozen box. This was never what he wanted and if people would stop going they would have no choice but to lower the prices.
Comments for Disneyland Resort Adds Significant Price Increase to All Park Tickets Effective Immediately

Just rip the bandaid off and quadruple prices. I would gladly pay $500 a day and $129 for parking.

I pay over $20,000 for a family trip, I would gladly pay double that if the parks had less people
