Awesome! I think chopak or whatever his name is should just bulldoze the whole thing and put up whatever they want. They don’t seem to give a flip what people who have been going there since the 80s want. I’m done with them. That idiot ceo will ruin it and have it all to himself soon
I’m politically neutral — but the new rides have been absolutely awful at Epcot. The I’ll conceived Guardians coaster makes people vomit or at minimum gives a lot of headaches from motion sickness. Ratatouille is just horrible, looks cheap with all the projection screens– and I’m sure the French people are thrilled by being represented by a rat in World Showcase. It’s insulting.
Exactly Kevin. You have to evolve to cater new generations or you will fail. Do you think kids today would enjoy a Disney park from the 80s or even be able to understand or relate to it? You have to stay relevant to survive.
He’s been CEO for two years…all of these decisions were made under Iger…the construction started long before Chapek even took over. At the end of the day he has very little control. It’s the board of directors that is responsible for pretty much everything
The only way to end this is to do the painful thing. Dump your stock and let it all fail but in this day and age companies get propped by the government if they do buddy buddy things then in that case THAT is why capitalism is not working.
What is going on right now is an integral part of capitalism and a market economy, there is a lot of demand with all those funds saved during the pandemic closures and then production still hasn’t caught up with labor shortages, supply chain issues etc. Inflation is guaranteed. That is why the whole world is going price crazy
It’s the interference of government that ruins business. There has been a lot of news from Disney that it’s employees have been arrested for child trafficking.
Disney just doesn’t get that. It’s all about making memories and reminiscing about those memories and being able to relive those memories with your children and family for years to come. That’s why magic Kingdom main Street is a early 20th century town. It’s remembering and if you destroy all those things then there’s nothing to remember.
I completely agree with Scott. That CEO is ruining all our memories. And he’s making the rides dangerous by cutting corners on labor and materials. Where is the quality?
He’s been CEO for two years…these plans were in the making years before he came along. And clearly y’all don’t understand how publicly traded companies work….the board of directors calls all the shots. The CEO is more or less just a figurehead.
Do you know who is buying said trafficked kids? Catholic priests that’s who. Where do you think the dollar bills go when they reach down the pews and ask you to give? That’s lube money for John Paul the 69th

I’ve been going there since the 80s and still love it. A smart company caters to newer guests more so than guests from 40 years ago.
