We had the same experience last week. We got an email saying our reservations had been cancelled. Called customer service which took us to tech support. Turns out it was a software upgrade that created duplicate reservations for folks. Then to clean it up they deleted the duplicates, but the software automatically sent the emails. Tech checked, our original reservations were still there. But this was not a happy thing to experience at 11PM on the day before our first park visit.

happened to us on our fist day in sept, our entire groupl all reservation gone for the whole week, awsome cast member help rebook them with no issues
