I don’t want to go back to WDW until they get the railroad back up and running. Nothing is more relaxing than sitting on that train and letting it take you around the park without worrying about lines, genie+ or 6month in advance restaurant reservations. You could feel the nostalgia of what Walt Disney really wanted the parks and the Disney company to be about..
As a construction worker on the new Tron Roller Coaster at the Magic Kingdom I can confirm that part of that construction is in place to get the train rails reconnected to the rest of the Magic Kingdom. I can not legally give too much info nor share pics but trust me, the wonderful train will be back soon.
We LOVE the train. My son went when he was one and loved it. We can’t wait for it to come back!! It’s beautiful, a moving work of art, puts you into Disney theming and a great physics lesson when you’re skipping school to go on vacation.
The enire Magic Kingdom was built in 5 years. All of Disneyland, was built in 11 months, yet they can’t finish one damned roller coaster in four and a half years?!!! Because of this outdated Tron concept, a great Disney World icon remains motionless.
You can’t keep using COVID as an excuse for ineptitude, Bob!
Chapek needs to go.
We took our 9 yo twins, for the 1sr time, in May 2022. I was so hoping that the train was back running…. they LOVE trains…. I was disappointed that it wasn’t… I have many great memories of the train growing up( grew up in SoFl, went at least twice a yr)… we would use it to get to the exit while things were going on that blocked up Main Street… missed being able to do that…also missed seeing the Fab 5 ride on it for opening ceremony in the AM…we won’t be back for several years…hopefully we will be able ride the rails then…
You continue to make incredible mistakes. Disneyland had so much character, and now you stand in line to get a stale churro. At least pick up the damm trash.

Do you think it will be open by Thanksgiving? That is when we are coming down. Thanks
