The owners of these theme parks and such better start cracking down hard on the rules of these rides plus have the rides inspected and updated more than just every so many years or months! Have real knowledgeable inspectors and mechanics to inspect and fix these rides properly instead of half assed! No cutting corners by the owner either! This is getting ridiculous when you hear or read about these rides injuring or killing people due to either a breaking or broken ride or just the riders themselves either trying to fake out or is faking out the operators of the rides or hired operators that don’t give a damn about the set rules of the ride just so they can get either their obese friends on or their girlfriend’s/boyfriend’s kids on the ride that are to short! Something in the above needs to change and quickly!
The incident at Great Adventure took 7 ppl to the hospital w/ neck n back injuries n 6 others also had injuries… That was El Toro n I have been on that ride n it jolts ur neck because there is nothing to lean ur head on… Fun ride but the drops n twists n turns r PAINFUL!!! It is closed down indefinitely now… That’s what happens in N.J. when a wooden roller coaster sits through years of heat, snow n rain all year!!! The wood weakens n the tracks rust… SMH!!!

There was an incident a couple weeks ago at Six Flags Great Adventure in NJ as well. Nobody was seriously injured.
