You really aren’t missing much by not seeing Poseidon’s Fury. It’s a mediocre attraction at best. As far as Mummy, it should hopefully be open by your trip. I know they want it open for Halloween Horror Nights. If One Fish, Two Fish is closed, go on Twirl & Hurl by the Simpsons. It is the exact same ride except it doesn’t squirt water at you.

My first day ever going to universal we waited an hour and half in the heat to be told the ride was having issues so we didn’t go back until our 4th visit and having a child and me and my daughter being 5ft tall we got put in the back even thought we were first in line so we couldn’t see anything. I was so mad and disappointed because what I could see looked neat but it was a waste of time for short people.
Oh that’s a bummer! So it’s a show you stand for, not a ride? I’m sorry you couldn’t see it! That’s crazy that it’s a standing attraction but heights aren’t taken into account. My daughter and I are both 5’3 Thank you both, it sounds like it won’t be too disappointing to miss then!
It isn’t great. The water tunnel is fine and the corny acting from the worker is fun, but it isn’t worth the wait and there usually is not much of a wait. It needs replaced with some kind of mythology themed ride.
One fish is okay to close, Posideons Adv. is an attraction I like to go to, hope it’s open in Oct., The Mummy ride will hopefully also be ready in October.
I was there earlier this year when it reopened. The ride broken down when we were in the queue. I believe the problem is with the transition phase that takes place after the first room (spoiler free! :))
I think y’all need to get a grip and learn about what is news to report and what isn’t and then when you find a story how to report it. There is a magical concept called maintenance and Universal doesn’t owe anyone an explanation. Stop trying to make stories come up out of no where
Disney obviously invested a lot of time and money on Poseidon’s Fury when it originally opened – but that was DECADES ago.
And IT SHOWS!
We saw it recently and, to be honest – rather than a basic refurb – it should have been completely updated or else closed down and replaced.
The idea is decent enough but the effects now look EXTREMELY dated.
Just not the quality that Disney should be displaying these days
This is in Unuversal and also it is going to only be closed for 2 days, they can’t control when they have to make sure it is safe or fix something small.
Gj I was there over 25 years ago and didn’t know they had removed Earthquake man you could just go on that and be happy only found out cuz I’m planning to go
We were there yesterday and went on Poseidon’s fury… It was the same as 2 years ago… a big disappointment. Not a ride, but a corny actor that narrates the dialog and then walks you thru a “tunnel” with a spongy wet floor that leads to another standing area where you watch an animated war between Poseidon and the evil “whatever”. There is fire and water features, but to us, it wasn’t worth the time even with the fast passes.
The Cat in the Hat ride was very cute but again not worth a long wait line. It’s over before you know it.
Mummy ride was closed
1. This attraction needs to go. Sorry but it’s just another ride in the park that no one really cares about.
2. This isn’t the only ride they needs to go. The Simpson needs to go as well.
3. Fast furious I’d a shame that they made a party bus and isn’t about cars racing. Dam shame.
Enough with the 3d screens and cgi . We want thrill and action
Universal already knows that and that’s what they are doing know, they only started about now because fast and furios and Jimmy Fallon were probably being created before many people started complaining and that’s why the built, Bourne, Velocicoaster, and Hagrid’s and even more that came and that is coming
I actually like the attraction and the theme, but my brother had a good idea, keep the theme but make it into a dark ride or roller coaster or whatever.
Also want to add that I think Fast and Furios is ok, and Jimmy Fallon is actually pretty good, and I like how they set up, how you wait, when u went it said 45 minutes, but it honestly felt like less

Just got back from universal today. The Mummy was open. I also did Poseidon’s Fury. It was definitely mediocre and the wait was long.
