No one is making anyone buy these “Freebies” that Disney gives to their guests. If another person wants to pay for them online on a sale platform good for them. It’s a sellers market if there is a demand for them.
TOTALLY DISAGREE!!
IT IS A KNOW POLICY THAT BUYING Disney’s Items in bulk to sell on ebay is not tolerated. If Disney knows of this by cast members or visitors they should not let them exit the park with these items. There should be a limit put on items and if hogs continue to abuse this then Disney should take action and BAN THEM FOREVER from Disney Properties. Disgusting actions by disgusting people
People constantly abuse these sorts of things. Or if there is a certain item for sale and suddenly no one can buy it without paying ridiculous prices from scalpers let’s call them what they are.
It someone is gifted something and turns around and sells it – that’s not a crime or even remotely something that Disney can penalize someone for, without getting a fat lawsuit thrown at them.
Been happening (probably) since Disney became a thing and exploded with the internet – I always felt bad for the Disney runners at the RunDisney events. If they couldn’t be there the morning of the first day, they were relegated to leftover merchandise. The Ebayers swarmed the Expo and took out huge bags of stuff- actually watched them photo and post merchandise still on the shelf!
This is hardly new. Every time something exclusive is released, it is snapped up and resold. Thankfully Disney has started limiting the number of these items you are allowed to buy at once. I’m surprised that there wasn’t a policy in place to not pass out more than one pair of these ears per guest. Of course, there are still ways around that of you are bringing family. Chances are someone in the family doesn’t want the item, or at least wants the money more.
What’s the matter Disney? Upset that YOU aren’t the ones overcharging people for ridiculous things for once? Boo-hoo. Don’t worry, tomorrow’s yet another day to work your “magic” on all the park goers. If someone wants to sell their stuff and someone else wants to buy it, it’s their right and none of anyone else’s business.
This has been going on since the dawn of time, except there are millions more people. Without labeling, People want to become an entrepreneur, who scams anything and everything to become a multi millionaire by the age of 25, so they never have to work again. They have no ties to any of that merchandise, or anything they are scamming, Except profit, profit, profit! This is now the norm in this world.
Seems like thats all people do nowadays. Sad isn’t it. 😢
So all you people who are upset about this are the same ones who complained when Disney started charging for services they used to provide for free…………

oh look who’s a smuggler.

Guests should appreciate the freebies and keep them. Trying to profit off of such items is absolutely wrong.

Just a bunch of pathetic bums, reselling at a markup for something free. Embarrassing

Good for them. I’d make money off pathetically sad grown azz Disney adults too.
AW
Aw. Aren’t you a pathetic, sad little creature.
Cyndi
Isn’t this considered “scalping”? Selling for more than you paid.
