We had some of the best interactions with people who were there for “gay days”. Everyone was respectful, friendly, and there was no excessive PDA, but I don’t want to see anyone making out, anywhere. We went several years during the gay days and it was always totally fine. I don’t have little kids anymore but I could see how that might be a little harder if you are not ready to explain, two men holding hands.
