Okay, I get people in Florida wanting these characters to appear in their park too, but it isn’t Disney being unfair. Disney World is a MUCH bigger place, with a a lot of characters and attractions that Disneyland doesn’t have. If anything, Disneyland getting something now and then that Disney World doesn’t is fair. There’s a lot of stuff I’m envious of in the Florida Disney parks, but I don’t look at it as Disney being unfair. I look at it as that being where they chose those particular attractions and experiences to go. Besides, Disney World not getting all of the same characters for Halloween means that each park’s Halloween experience gets to be unique.

  2. WeWantVillains

WDW has basically removed all villains from meet and greets since Hocus Pocus came to the party scene. We used to have a REAL villain event where you could meet TONS of rare villains, like Constantine from Muppets Most Wanted and the live action version of Maleficent. It’s sad because villain merchandise has also been very limited lately. You’d think during Halloween they would put out more with them on it. I know Hocus Pocus is coming out with a new movie, but give the villains their due.

I think people forget how intensive these characters are. The training and dedication to the character as well as finding someone suitable to play the role is extremely important to keeping the magic. Yeah, it sucks Florida doesn’t seem to have these characters but 1. Maybe they don’t have the right people to play them and 2. Maybe they’re in the middle of training. It’s a lot of work being these characters. You can’t just throw someone in willy nilly just cause people complain about it. The magic is much more important. Sorry

My goodness people, WDW has so much that Disneyland doesn’t. We have some great new characters for OBB this year. Awesome! I can’t wait to attend my first one this year!

  5. Don’t take your kids there

Disney has turned to trash and is no longer family friendly. We will never go there again. Walt Disney is surely rolling over in his grave with what they’ve changed his company into…

      Shut up

Don’t let the door hit you on the way out.

I personally will never darken their doorways again. Everything starting from their “from the moment you walk through the gates” to their designated scooter waiting areas all being in direct sunlight is neither magical nor safe/accessible for anyone who isn’t 100% able bodied

Someone call the “WAH”mbulance….WDW is twice as big as Disneyland and has so many more attractions. Let the small park have its own things. Just another example of materialistic Veruca Salts looking into someone else’s cup to compare portions when their cup is running over. You want to see the performers, then come to Disneyland. That’s what Westerners have to do when they want to see Epcot or Mine Train or Be Our Guest or Avatar or Expedition Everest…or–should I go on?

Is that a promise? I don’t want to see anymore Disney related spending on your credit cards in the future.

      They won’t miss you.

Bring back Brer Rabbit, Brer Fox, and Brer Bear!! While you are at it, keep Splash Mountain as it is in Disneyland and the Magic Kingdom please. Just expand the parks to add Princess and the Frog attraction. Or better yet, clean up one of the abandoned water parks, and make the Princess and the Frog attraction there.

They should have put it on Tom Sawyer’s island and tie it in to the riverboat.

Though the thought of a new attraction is exciting the removal of another is always a sad day to bid farewell.

Splash Mountain is a wonderful ride and up until 2020 because of accusations and demands a popular ride will forever be transformed.

Now don’t twist what I’m saying I love me some Tiana and A N R is smokin hot and will have her own series next year which should boost her popularity hopefully.

The Brers along with many forgotten long lost characters are and have been boxed away like old toys someone says we are too old to play with.

These “friends” we go to visit at the theme parks have or are moving and we will miss them.

They were part of our childhood, they are in our memories and in our homes as plush toys or action figures.

These characters are important to our history and to the history of the Walt Disney Company.

Pulling them away is the same as ripping away statues that offend people.

Why not co-exist and have all characters beloved rotate throughout the season’s?

Or at least have the characters make anniversary visits!

I don’t fault Disney for being so tippy toe around sensitive topics because as a corporation you want to pick your battles and work a good strategy.

Sadly this is a case where the dreamers and historians chapters seems to be coming to an end.

But I will personally remain hopeful that at least 1 theme park will keep Splash as an exclusive.

Taking down Splash because someone is offended is like taking down Cinderellas Castle because a young white girl was made to be a maid or slave in her own home and was mistreated.

    But thats my opinion.

Boo hoo. At least they have a park. Try being in Australia where the closet parks are 8-10hour flights away.

    1. Logan Hatfield

how about you shut up and respect other peoples opinions

    2. drew

Well at least you can go out and see a koala whenever you want or sign up for some kangaroo boxing lessons at the local rec center.

  10. Here I was mad wishing we had the awesome party florida has why cant we get powerline and good party’s like u guys get. I don’t really like bash I want mickeys not so scary back at disneyland better. I’m tired of ogie bogie it was ok first time but that’s enough now. I like older characters like ducktales or some more old school ppl.

As a constant Disneyland park goer, Disney World actually has way more opportunities for character meet and greets and dining! Disneyland has easier princess meet and greets as they’re all in one place, unlike wandering around Epcot to find your favorites…Disney World also has much more character dining than Disneyland! I get so tired of seeing Mickey and friends all over Disneyland when I can go to Disney World and dine with Snow White, Cinderella and even the villains! For all those complaining about Disneyland having more, in reality Disney World is so much better when it comes to character opportunities (pre pandemic). I do however think Disneyland has brought back a lot of attractions faster than Florida in terms or character experiences. Like what the heck, I can’t see Cinderella while dining at Royal Table!!

According to some of this logic, bring back the motorboats, the submarine voyage without Nemo, 20,000 leagues under the sea, and on and on and on and on … 🤪😜😎 wink wink
