This is heartbreaking- they need to provide details 😢

      Walt wasn’t for Americans.
Proud to say I be never been and will never go. Evil is all I see. Evil and nasty!!

You sir, obviously know absolutely NOTHING about Walt. He risked his own company going bankrupt and losing everything during the second world War to produce films for the U.S. armed forces. Pick up a book, it might teach you something.

I’ll bet Walt is turning in his grave as to the Evil and disgusting filth Disney has turned into.

    2. Diane

      They had a fire

As dated as it may seem to most. I liked the singers and there was a changing art exhibit to the side. And not long after September 11th I went there. I had a pass back then. Not a dry eye in the presentation. You could hear people sniffling in the dark. It was a bit intense for me as well, after that I couldn’t go in unless I had family from outta town who wanted in. I would just go see the singers and leave. I’m sure it’s temporary, as this is the world showcase and what is the world without the USA?

Its not dated how can history be dated? Oh I understand its not telling (yet) the evils of America – gotcha!

        Truth right there

I lived in cape coral for years and we visited Disney world every weekend. Epcot was one of my favorite places. How sad. Figure something out!

        2. SG

I say leave it alone. Noteverybody wants to ride roller coasters or 3d shooyemups

This is the most excruciating news I have ever heard. This is all about our USA history and this is what children should see. What type of person would think anything about our USA history and want to close something that is so important to this country.. The show is filled to capacity ever time I have been to the show and I am a passholder… This is just only one more thing Disney has done to make us not to become a passholder again.. Who is running WDW a foreign country that hates this USA and not think our history is not important anymore?????

It’s old animatronics it can be upgraded. History won’t change but presentation could be better

      4. Alan

        Exactly, it’s not Woke

    2. Carole

This is the most patriotic experience at Disney! This is enlightening for our children who should learn the real truth about America. If Disney closes this, they are WOKE.

  3. Janet Joyce

This so sad. I was looking forward to seeing this again this month. Hopefully they will reopen it.

  4. Chris

Slow season allows for much needed maintenance. Not just at Disney.

  5. Steve

Darn, this was my go to for a break from the heat and a quick nap! 🙂

Hoping that this is a refurb and will be open again mid October as it is one of my favs at EPCOT.

  7. Mason

It’s not a refurbishment. I bet it’s a retheme. What will Disney do make it a musical version of the 1619 project or turn the American Adventure into Ukraine?

  8. Tatty kat

My opinion and probably not others. Its someone who had offense to part of it

I am so disappointed after reading about all the cancels and Closures in Disney World!!
I have been looking forward to the day in the near future when we could take our whole family there..but now I’m reading about attractions closing with indefinite dates for anything new, along with Price Increases that even incluse their TV+ programing!!
The Disney CEOs need to put themselves in their fan$/consumer$ hand$ !!!
Are they on the same wavelength? Are they in one of their fantasy worlds that haven’t closed down yet?
I think I might start looking for a “Beaches” or all inclusive Adventureland somewhere! I’m sure it would be a better deal!
I’m sorry but the “MAGIC OF DISNEY” is fading.😥💔

I fear that there will be a revision that will no longer honor Thomas Jefferson; will change sections about Native Americans, The Civil War and replace it with a bunch of Woke CRT B….S…… I pray I am wrong. It was so well done and moving. Disney Dont’t mess it up.

  11. Cheryl Songer

Please keep the Voices Of Liberty! Many of us come to EPCOT JUST to hear them. I will miss the theatre show as well. It makes me proud to be an American.

  12. Susan

As far as I’m concerned it’s one of the if not the very best that Disney has ever done I look forward to going there every time I go to the parks. I’m sure it’s as important to other people as it is to me. And I agree with the fellow who spoke earlier I always cry I’m not sure why out of pride, out of Hope, or just out of love for my country

  13. David L Langston

More from Chapek and Co. Giving the middle finger to most of their guests. Go woke, go broke. And destroying this once great company and great product.

  14. Bon

As long as they have lines, thus crap will happen
    They need a major reset.

More America hating woke tard Disney. One more reason to quit going. They’d rather make up their own history even if it’s fake

    1. I am so very grateful that er experienced this for the first time last Sunday. The last day of our second trip to WDW. We had lunch at the Regal Eagle then popped on over. Listened to the lovely singing then went on to the experience. It’s some what similar to Lincoln in Disneyland.

Disney is woke and annoying. Making up history doesn’t change it. Kids need to know american history and be proud of this country

      Yes!!!

This is heartbreaking, the Imagineering on this attraction is phenomenal! The music and the script are wonderful, even though it doesn’t go deep into the tragedies of the development of America, the tough times are represented. The Civil War, Native Americans, The Great Depression, MLK and Susan B Anthony are all seen in the show. I sincerely hope Disney upgrades the animatronics without losing the spirit of The American Adventure!
