Judging by the concept art it looks like the Overhaul is going to be either Moana based or Raya and the Last Dragon based or maybe the Good Dinosaur to continue with the Prehistoric theme but I could be wrong though.

According to the live stream they were toying with Moana and/or Zootopia. But nothing definite.

How does Moana fit in Animal Kingdom? The chicken? The pig? She deserves a proper pomynesian isles area. While AK is lush, she doesn’t fit the theme. Zootopia would make a lot of sense. Would it draw big crowds? Great costume opportunities for CMs. Fantasy animals would be very doable with several IP like onward, Raya, Luca, and more.

Disney doesn’t care about what fits. Joe quit, so AK is Disney’s newest mishmash of unwanted IP inclusions.

I hope they get rid of DINOSAUR!!! The worst ride in all the land !

What the heck, Nutsy… Your name fits you greatly. Nutty is what you are. That is the best ride there, factual proof.

Yet again, replacing attractions rather than increasing capacity. 1/4 of Florida’s smallest park to close for IP pushing.

    Sold that stock yet?

“Teased” = another word for making promises, but not delivering.

Last time we went almost everything in Dinoland was not working. I hope they do better with this.

Good because Dinoland is pretty lame.

I hope they don’t dinosaur I love the ride but maybe the rest of the land can go and keep the dinosaur ride for me and the rest of the fans that love it and for the ones that don’t I am sorry for you but I last a lot of rides I like in different parks but I got on with my life. I know my luck they will take dinosaur out to and their go another one of my favorite rides in the history books and I won’t never give Disney my money again.

Disney on the whole is embarrassing, people spend a lot of hard earned money to go to the park as they love Disney so much, people paid a lot of money to get the latest shambles that was D23, and all they did was tease this is what you could have…it’s embarrassing….meanwhile Universal are head and shoulders above with Epic Universe, I hope it crushes Disney as they are just becoming insulting now

How about this? Instead of a new Theme to work with, keep the Dinosaur theme but create a more interactive dino discovery area. Add attractions that are new and different related to paleontology and ways people can see and participate in paleontology. They could create a brand new character to be the spokes Dino of the land, sort of like Figment for Imagination at EPCOT. In other words let’s see if Disney has any Creative juices left or is it just a floundering fish waiting to die.

Just more replacing and re-themes, nothing being added while prices continue to soar. Meanwhile Universal is adding a whole new park.

Minority opinion, but I love the geology school backstory behind so many of the buildings and displays in dinoland. Lots of time linking letters, photos, memorabilia and displays to create a feeling of time and place. That’s more magic to me than an IP display to power the gift shop. The lodge-style restaurant with wings depicting a motor pool, ranger housing, makeshift student dorm and an Airstream trailer all flowing together is one of my favorite buildings in the world, full of fun details and great props.

As fun as the late, great Adventurers Club, and will be as missed.

All things must pass, but this change represents a dumbing-down of Disney Creative that I am sorry to see.
