I said exactly the same when we went last week. Some of the best stuff in all of Disney World is there, it really is an AMAZING park… but it wasn’t really BUILT to be an amazing park, and it just can’t keep up with its own hype 🙁 such a cozy little entrance area, dining areas need some serious change, and needs more ‘filler’ attractions to thin out crowds for the busier ones. Fingers crossed for a bright future for this park!
There’s this far more serious broken misconception at Disney that LGBTQ is not a sex act that a person chooses to do and therefore can choose to stop. Claiming that LGBTQ is genetic like your skin color doesn’t make logical sense, because you can’t change your racial make up, but you can stop an LGBTQ act anytime. Though like other addictions, it may be difficult to change a LGBTQ habit, it should be doable with proper training.
Even if LGBTQ is really genetic, it can still be stopped by the perpetrator. Flasher, sex with children, desiring your neighbor’s wife, killing your enemies …. are built in some people’s genes but do they always act out on whatever their genes tell them to do, or do they control their impulses in civil society? In short, LGBTQ is a choice with many harmful consequences, including infertility, and therefore must not be promoted as a normal life style (ie, to be adopted equally as the straight lifestyle) to gullible kids.
You’re take on this is a bit extreme……even crazy? I think I get your point but there are other ways to get there. Disney isn’t your enemy. Disney is accepting of everyone regardless of their decisions. You have other things and people to deal with. I hope you don’t have anything in your life that someone could judge….

My disappointment in the Hollywood Studios came with the closing of the Great Movie Ride. Afterall, it is a movie themed park! Yes, it had the same scenes since opening & might have needed some updating/ adding more recent classics but to close it and replace it with a silly not-a-movie themed ride in the iconic Chinese Theatre building, to me was sacreligious. And remember being able to tour the animation studio?Would be nice to see the Hollywood & Studios themes return.
HS lost its identity a long time ago. The purpose of the park has evolved through various management. The icon has been removed (EARful Tower) or covered (Chinese Theater) or removed (Sorcerer Hat) more times than many younger park goers can remember. The current park isn’t bad; however, it truly struggles with line control. Would love to see some “other” attractions in small footprints like classic dark rides but that cannot happen with instability in Imagineering.
Star Wars is overrated and a little to late. Mickey Railroad needs to move to another park. Disney needs to bring back the Hollywood magic. A lot of people get go to the real Hollywood.
It seems that facts do not matter. Star Wars is neither overrated or too late. Star Wars is more popular than ever and the land is not overrated. it is considered one of the best themed environments ever built in a theme park.
Mickey and Minie has no reason to move, the most exotic theater in any of the parks is the exact place for this ride.
As for the ‘Hollywood Magic’ DisneyMGM Studios or Hollywood Studios is the Hollywood that never was! It was never intended to be Hollywood.
What ruined it for me was the removal of the Osbourne lights. SERIOUSLY??It was the most magical time of the year seeing that. Walking around watching the lights dance to music, seeing the snow fall, everyone with smiles on their face, looking for the black Halloween cat. They said they were gonna replace it with something even better. Um, still waiting on that idiots. Whoever made that decision should have been fired
I agree 100%!! I can’t express my disappointment of not being able to take my grandson to see the lights. They could’ve left the backlot tour and still built their Star Wars area. I like Star Wars but I’m not a die hard for the details fan. I’m not an imagineer and I can come up with several ideas that would’ve excited me and the crowds. Where are the Jawa’s? Hello? Give people something to look forward to. Trading with Jawa’s or Ewok’s. They live for shiny trinkets. That’s an experience any Star Wars fan would love. Why not make the cantina at least twice the size and model it after the cantina we’re all familiar with? Or maybe have 2 cantinas? Disney is so concerned about making that Big Money they’ve lost sight of those magical touch’s that make it special. Why don’t stormtroopers come in the cantina looking for rebels? Interaction with the loved and hated characters is what all fans want. Am I the only one who wonders why it’s shops are so small and uncomfortable. With all the property Disney owns surrounding the Star Wars area why couldn’t it have been larger? They literally could’ve made it into anything, it’s based on a non-star wars planet. So many missed opportunities, so many ways to help guests forget about how much money they’ve spent.
The rocking roller coaster should be converted into the Monsters Inc scene when Sully and Mike are riding on all the different doors looking for Boo’s Door. It would fit in perfectly. Between Monsters Inc and Monsters University the ideas are endless.
People want interaction with their favorite characters from their most cherished stories. You want to spread people out? Give them opportunities, characters, and surprises. I was a diehard Disney lover but slowly the magic became less and less. I tried to be positive but, I realized my beloved Disney Magic was gone when they replaced Wishes fireworks show at Magic Kingdom. Why couldn’t they just get rid of The carousel of Progress? It’s a repetitive, horrible, traumatically inescapable, experience.
The biggest problem in all four of the DW parks is ride closures. We were there in October, 2021 and were in the lightning lane of Test Track when it closed due to a malfunction and did not reopen for over thirty minutes. In the meantime the lightning lane grew to an hour wait. Next day we were on Rise of the Resistance when it also stopped due to malfunction and we were forced to exit the ride. This has always been a problem even in the free Fastpass days. Disney needs to spend more money on maintenance staff so the popular attractions can remain open during park hours.
The majority of ride closures have nothing to do with maintenance, it has to do with safety. Should they ignore their safety guidelines because you want a shorter line?
Whether it’s safety or maintenance, they are a professional company with lots of engineering talent, they could figure out how to address the problems with proper budgeting. People might be a lot less upset paying overly inflated prices if it’s a well run, smooth operating park that cares about its visitor’s experience.
Safety means if one car on a ride gets to close and enters the brake zone, the ride stops, then guests are evacuated from the ride and then needs to be reset again. Some attractions have notoriously long reset periods. But the stop is for guest safety, not maintenance. And I would much rather the ride stop and have to wait longer than ride when the vehicles enter the brake zone. But then again, I am not that selfish.

That’s the point. The rides should be engineered/operated in such a manner that they don’t “get to [sic] close” and so that they don’t have long reset times.

Safety of what? Safety from what? Test Track goes down if there is a drop of rain, I get that. That is the exception, the majority of issues are maintenance related.
Indoor rides stopping for a prolonged period under a clear sky cannot happen without a maintnace component.
My biggest issue with Hollywood studios is not just a lot of what has already been mentioned but NO SHADE or areas to sit! I thought I would pass out last time I was there so we just left.
Insane wait times, continual ride shut downs, lack of smaller quick rides, and a dirty park make Hollywood Studios the least fun of all the Disney parks. For many years, we would go to WDW every spring break, but this last time was THE LAST time.
Hollywood Studios has many great attractions. It simply needs more rides.
There are rides at MK, AK, or Epcot that could be used under a different theme at Hollywood Studios. Peter Pan is a very popular ride at MK; why not use the same ride design and have an “Up!” themed ride. Another thing that is highly popular at AK is the giant dinosaur themed playground area for kids. Why not create the same type of playground as apart of Toy Story Land that could represent Andy’s room (or Al’s Toy Barn) and Bonnie’s room (or the Carnival/antique store).
The park could definitely use a couple more rollercoaster/thrill rides.
If you use Genie + strategically, you can avoid many of the 1 hr plus line! Yes, it’s a money gouge but at this point are you really going to come all this way and skimp at the last second? We visited in Nov’21 and hit every ride in the park, some several times. Only missing slinky dog because it was broken at the two times we’d fast passes to it. But it still one of my top parks there. In fact, we hit it two days out of our 5 day visit!
Hollywood Studios needs to be exactly that! At least bring back the Citizens of Hollwood – right now! They were, no ARE the best thing in this park. For the love of Minnie bring them back! please, and hurry.
The biggest failure for me is the normal pack staff! 9 out of 10 had zero engagement with visitor’s and had more interest chatting between them self’s. They just looked miserable. It took the friendly magical experience right out. I was so disappointed seeing daughters first visit as a 6 year old look so underwhelmed. It would have been a right off if it wasn’t for the characters being engaging
Castmember quality has fallen off a cliff. 20 years ago, every castmember was deserving of the title. They truly “performed” while on duty. Now, they act like the grumpy punks who work at McDonald’s.
Disney has lost the Pixie dust and replaced it with dollar confetti. Walt would never have approved the forest of high-rise hotels going up. When you drive into Disney it might as well be the downtown of any Miami. Walt’s low rise intimate hotels.
Now it’s like arriving at your local Hilton. Hollywood Studios used to be charming. The Current accountant type managers have replaced designers and imagineers who were responsible for making Disney so different. Small but meaningful changes Such as the closing of the Disney memorabilia store by the gate at Hollywood Studies was the beginning of the end.
Hardly any reason left to go to Disney might as well go to Universal.
Actually, that is totally incorrect. Walt’s plan for the ‘South Seas’ Resort had a Pyramid Tower instead of the Great Ceremonial House. His plan for the Tempo Bay resort was a large central tower with the monorail moving thru it. Sound familiar? EPCOT City-A skyscraper tower, the model is still in the Peoplemover. Other themed resorts-a 9 story Asian and a 10 story tower at the Venice themed hotel.
So much for Walt wanting lowrise hotels.
And, by the way, Sids at the main entrance was not a Disney memorabilia store, it was a Spencers selling 8×10 promos from anyone who would now be on cameo.

I must be in the minority, that’s our favorite park! I get the complaints about crowds, it is the most crowded usually. But we just go off season when it’s not too bad. I don’t think I would go in the summer or spring break, lol! Last year when we went, we walked on Tower of Terror three times in a row! I’m not too fond of Slinky, if I had to complain about any rides. It’s not a bad coaster, but like Mine Train at Magic Kingdom, it’s not worth the long waits IMO. I love the Mickey ride, so adorable! And the updated old Star Tours is cool in how the storyline is different each time. Rise is just…wow!
Changing Rock n Roller Coaster to a Powerline theme would be a major mistake. The Goofy Movie was released in 1995. It’s not as well known as Aerosmith. Rise of the Resistance can be a disappointment. It was for us, broke down 3 times while we were in line. My family refused to leave the line (took hours, could not wait to get off to do something else). We are going to try going during the school year in the off season and hope for better things.
The word is that they may have to change it to something else due to license issues. If that is true, Powerline is preferably to neckbeard superhero garbage like they pulled in Paris. Especially since a superhero theme would end up with a Tower superhero retheme.
I’ve been saying this a while…Hollywood Studios basically has 7 main “rides” that have extremely long wait times most of the day. It needs more !!!
They should have updated the Great Movie Ride and built Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railroad in Animation Courtyard area. Then continue building attractions all the way circular behind Lightning McQueen to Toy Story Land. More Pixar!!! A Monsters Inc door coaster, an east coast version of Radiator Springs, an Incredibles attraction, etc. Just my opinion 😀
My son & daughter in law took my granddaughter and I in February.
Haven’t been on a real vacation in over 20 years, I must say it was the best part of this century for me.
I have memories that I will carry for the rest of my life.
All the Star Wars stuff, Pandora, magic kingdom animal kingdom. All amazing.
Forever grateful for that experience.
I like HS. The Hollywood/ retro vibe is great and they should play it up even more. Tower of Terror is a fantastic flagship ride/queue, themed to perfection. Same for Scifi theater. Vintage Disney – from the 1920”s on – is criminally underutilized in HS. It could be well incorporated, and there is a huge demand for classic/vintage/nostalgia while finding ways to appeal to kids apart from vulgar IP insertions. HS has so much potential if given more attention.
I’m a DVC member & I am incredibly disappointed with the management of the parks. Disney is for the rich only. Between ticket prices & all of “pay extra for this & that” or else you will wait in line for 3+hours.
Where has the “Disney Magic” gone? As a kid my family would go every couple of years to Disney. Being from Canada & always having to deal with the exchange rate, my parents made it happen. I married into another “Disney loving family”. We had a little one & we became DVC members in 1998. Still in Canada we would go to Disney 2 – 3 times a year, buying Annual Passes. We watched the parks grow & evolve. The number of options for accommodation for many families to experience the “Magic” within their price point. Our Kid has grown & now her & her husband want to join in the “Magic”. My husband & I are Empty Nesters now. Our plan was to experience Disney Kid Free. The way the management is going a Disney vacation will be so far out of reach for most of us.
The “most magical place on earth” to me is being ruined by mismanagement & corporate greed. The almighty dollar is running Disney. I hope that they wake up soon & realize that the loyalty of countless “Disney families & fans are being shutout of the “Magic”

This was an awesome park back in the MGM days. The Great Movie Ride, the Studio Backlot Tour, Lights Motors Action! to name a few of the great things they’ve taken away. And replaced with things that aren’t much better. I know change is necessary but this is a park where ADDING things without taking things away would be warranted.
Profits above all mentally has totally ruined Disney. They have abandoned their biggest fan s in the annual card holders and it’s beginning to show… In another article the new guardians ride in Orlando has zero line
What really got me was when they both raised prices on food AND shrunk portions and the idiot at Disney who made the decision defended it saying they were doing our waistlines a favor. Right….🙄 DWD. done with disney
We were there mid August on a Saturday. It took us 6 years of saving to be able to go back since our first trip there in 2016. Still, we couldn’t try Rise of the Resistance because it broke after having us do 2 hours of line, spent half the day broken and then wait times started at 3hs. We also couldn’t do Slinky because of storm after another 2hs wait in line. Aerosmith also had lot of delays, we were able to do it only once. Of our park days, this was by far the worst
I miss the movie ride which could have been updated with so many of the more recent blockbusters. Railway is cute but meh, compared to the prior.
I was disappointed that Walt’s Story became a meet and greet for Sully. I love Sully but the queue blocked all the displays of the museum. I hope they relocate that.
Millenium Falcon was very cool and Rise is on the agenda for February.
I found food prices to be outrageous and the worst part of the trip, Luckily my bff brought provisions!
We just got back to the UK from our first ever experience at DisneyWorld last week and for us as a family it was utterly magical – I don’t think the park is broken at all. We were so happy and our dreams literally came true. We had waited for this holiday for 3 years as we originally booked. It in 2019 for 2020.
Anyway, I personally thoroughly enjoyed the Rock’n Coaster and it being Aerosmith themed as I’m a huge fan. I would be utterly disappointed of that we’re too change.
I’d also like to mention that we as a family of 4 (husband and 2 grown children 17 & 20) were on a serous budget – we had less than 2k £1800 in total to be precise which was to cover food, drinks, Ubers and any shopping/spending money to buy merch in the parks and alsi outside shops (malls, Michaels etc) we managed perfectly fine, we were able to do everything we wanted, and buy the things we wanted and have enough to eat and drink. It really is what you make it – we had the most magical time and we can’t wait to come back again ❤️

Some of the major attractions that you simply can’t miss are in Toy Story Land with Toy Story Mania! and Slinky Dog Dash, and then down Sunset Boulevard with Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith.
One of the most magical offerings at Disney’s Hollywood Studios has yet to return at the time of this writing. Fantasmic! is slated to return later this year– and tests are being done now– but the nighttime spectacular has not returned as of yet.

The amphitheater curves around the lagoon, so wherever you’re seated, you’re perfectly situated to experience the action. Guests sitting in the first couple of rows may get wet during the performance.
Please have your entire party together before entering the amphitheater. You may arrive as early as 90 minutes prior to each show. Be sure to arrive early to get a seat!
Since this is an outdoor show, it is also subject to cancellation due to inclement weather. Showtimes are subject to change.

What ruined it for me was the removal of the Osbourne lights. SERIOUSLY??It was the most magical time of the year seeing that. Walking around watching the lights dance to music, seeing the snow fall, everyone with smiles on their face, looking for the black Halloween cat. They said they were gonna replace it with something even better. Um, still waiting on that idiots. Whoever made that decision should have been fired

I agree 100%!! I can’t express my disappointment of not being able to take my grandson to see the lights. They could’ve left the backlot tour and still built their Star Wars area. I like Star Wars but I’m not a die hard for the details fan. I’m not an imagineer and I can come up with several ideas that would’ve excited me and the crowds. Where are the Jawa’s? Hello? Give people something to look forward to. Trading with Jawa’s or Ewok’s. They live for shiny trinkets. That’s an experience any Star Wars fan would love. Why not make the cantina at least twice the size and model it after the cantina we’re all familiar with? Or maybe have 2 cantinas? Disney is so concerned about making that Big Money they’ve lost sight of those magical touch’s that make it special. Why don’t stormtroopers come in the cantina looking for rebels? Interaction with the loved and hated characters is what all fans want. Am I the only one who wonders why it’s shops are so small and uncomfortable. With all the property Disney owns surrounding the Star Wars area why couldn’t it have been larger? They literally could’ve made it into anything, it’s based on a non-star wars planet. So many missed opportunities, so many ways to help guests forget about how much money they’ve spent.
The rocking roller coaster should be converted into the Monsters Inc scene when Sully and Mike are riding on all the different doors looking for Boo’s Door. It would fit in perfectly. Between Monsters Inc and Monsters University the ideas are endless.
People want interaction with their favorite characters from their most cherished stories. You want to spread people out? Give them opportunities, characters, and surprises. I was a diehard Disney lover but slowly the magic became less and less. I tried to be positive but, I realized my beloved Disney Magic was gone when they replaced Wishes fireworks show at Magic Kingdom. Why couldn’t they just get rid of The carousel of Progress? It’s a repetitive, horrible, traumatically inescapable, experience.

The biggest problem in all four of the DW parks is ride closures. We were there in October, 2021 and were in the lightning lane of Test Track when it closed due to a malfunction and did not reopen for over thirty minutes. In the meantime the lightning lane grew to an hour wait. Next day we were on Rise of the Resistance when it also stopped due to malfunction and we were forced to exit the ride. This has always been a problem even in the free Fastpass days. Disney needs to spend more money on maintenance staff so the popular attractions can remain open during park hours.

The majority of ride closures have nothing to do with maintenance, it has to do with safety. Should they ignore their safety guidelines because you want a shorter line?

Whether it’s safety or maintenance, they are a professional company with lots of engineering talent, they could figure out how to address the problems with proper budgeting. People might be a lot less upset paying overly inflated prices if it’s a well run, smooth operating park that cares about its visitor’s experience.

Safety means if one car on a ride gets to close and enters the brake zone, the ride stops, then guests are evacuated from the ride and then needs to be reset again. Some attractions have notoriously long reset periods. But the stop is for guest safety, not maintenance. And I would much rather the ride stop and have to wait longer than ride when the vehicles enter the brake zone. But then again, I am not that selfish.

That’s the point. The rides should be engineered/operated in such a manner that they don’t “get to [sic] close” and so that they don’t have long reset times.

Safety of what? Safety from what? Test Track goes down if there is a drop of rain, I get that. That is the exception, the majority of issues are maintenance related.
Indoor rides stopping for a prolonged period under a clear sky cannot happen without a maintnace component.

Insane wait times, continual ride shut downs, lack of smaller quick rides, and a dirty park make Hollywood Studios the least fun of all the Disney parks. For many years, we would go to WDW every spring break, but this last time was THE LAST time.

There are rides at MK, AK, or Epcot that could be used under a different theme at Hollywood Studios. Peter Pan is a very popular ride at MK; why not use the same ride design and have an “Up!” themed ride. Another thing that is highly popular at AK is the giant dinosaur themed playground area for kids. Why not create the same type of playground as apart of Toy Story Land that could represent Andy’s room (or Al’s Toy Barn) and Bonnie’s room (or the Carnival/antique store).
The park could definitely use a couple more rollercoaster/thrill rides.

If you use Genie + strategically, you can avoid many of the 1 hr plus line! Yes, it’s a money gouge but at this point are you really going to come all this way and skimp at the last second? We visited in Nov’21 and hit every ride in the park, some several times. Only missing slinky dog because it was broken at the two times we’d fast passes to it. But it still one of my top parks there. In fact, we hit it two days out of our 5 day visit!

The biggest failure for me is the normal pack staff! 9 out of 10 had zero engagement with visitor’s and had more interest chatting between them self’s. They just looked miserable. It took the friendly magical experience right out. I was so disappointed seeing daughters first visit as a 6 year old look so underwhelmed. It would have been a right off if it wasn’t for the characters being engaging

Castmember quality has fallen off a cliff. 20 years ago, every castmember was deserving of the title. They truly “performed” while on duty. Now, they act like the grumpy punks who work at McDonald’s.

Disney has lost the Pixie dust and replaced it with dollar confetti. Walt would never have approved the forest of high-rise hotels going up. When you drive into Disney it might as well be the downtown of any Miami. Walt’s low rise intimate hotels.
Now it’s like arriving at your local Hilton. Hollywood Studios used to be charming. The Current accountant type managers have replaced designers and imagineers who were responsible for making Disney so different. Small but meaningful changes Such as the closing of the Disney memorabilia store by the gate at Hollywood Studies was the beginning of the end.
Hardly any reason left to go to Disney might as well go to Universal.

Actually, that is totally incorrect. Walt’s plan for the ‘South Seas’ Resort had a Pyramid Tower instead of the Great Ceremonial House. His plan for the Tempo Bay resort was a large central tower with the monorail moving thru it. Sound familiar? EPCOT City-A skyscraper tower, the model is still in the Peoplemover. Other themed resorts-a 9 story Asian and a 10 story tower at the Venice themed hotel.
So much for Walt wanting lowrise hotels.
And, by the way, Sids at the main entrance was not a Disney memorabilia store, it was a Spencers selling 8×10 promos from anyone who would now be on cameo.

I must be in the minority, that’s our favorite park! I get the complaints about crowds, it is the most crowded usually. But we just go off season when it’s not too bad. I don’t think I would go in the summer or spring break, lol! Last year when we went, we walked on Tower of Terror three times in a row! I’m not too fond of Slinky, if I had to complain about any rides. It’s not a bad coaster, but like Mine Train at Magic Kingdom, it’s not worth the long waits IMO. I love the Mickey ride, so adorable! And the updated old Star Tours is cool in how the storyline is different each time. Rise is just…wow!

Changing Rock n Roller Coaster to a Powerline theme would be a major mistake. The Goofy Movie was released in 1995. It’s not as well known as Aerosmith. Rise of the Resistance can be a disappointment. It was for us, broke down 3 times while we were in line. My family refused to leave the line (took hours, could not wait to get off to do something else). We are going to try going during the school year in the off season and hope for better things.

The word is that they may have to change it to something else due to license issues. If that is true, Powerline is preferably to neckbeard superhero garbage like they pulled in Paris. Especially since a superhero theme would end up with a Tower superhero retheme.

I’ve been saying this a while…Hollywood Studios basically has 7 main “rides” that have extremely long wait times most of the day. It needs more !!!
They should have updated the Great Movie Ride and built Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railroad in Animation Courtyard area. Then continue building attractions all the way circular behind Lightning McQueen to Toy Story Land. More Pixar!!! A Monsters Inc door coaster, an east coast version of Radiator Springs, an Incredibles attraction, etc. Just my opinion 😀

I have memories that I will carry for the rest of my life.
All the Star Wars stuff, Pandora, magic kingdom animal kingdom. All amazing.

I like HS. The Hollywood/ retro vibe is great and they should play it up even more. Tower of Terror is a fantastic flagship ride/queue, themed to perfection. Same for Scifi theater. Vintage Disney – from the 1920”s on – is criminally underutilized in HS. It could be well incorporated, and there is a huge demand for classic/vintage/nostalgia while finding ways to appeal to kids apart from vulgar IP insertions. HS has so much potential if given more attention.

I’m a DVC member & I am incredibly disappointed with the management of the parks. Disney is for the rich only. Between ticket prices & all of “pay extra for this & that” or else you will wait in line for 3+hours.
Where has the “Disney Magic” gone? As a kid my family would go every couple of years to Disney. Being from Canada & always having to deal with the exchange rate, my parents made it happen. I married into another “Disney loving family”. We had a little one & we became DVC members in 1998. Still in Canada we would go to Disney 2 – 3 times a year, buying Annual Passes. We watched the parks grow & evolve. The number of options for accommodation for many families to experience the “Magic” within their price point. Our Kid has grown & now her & her husband want to join in the “Magic”. My husband & I are Empty Nesters now. Our plan was to experience Disney Kid Free. The way the management is going a Disney vacation will be so far out of reach for most of us.
The “most magical place on earth” to me is being ruined by mismanagement & corporate greed. The almighty dollar is running Disney. I hope that they wake up soon & realize that the loyalty of countless “Disney families & fans are being shutout of the “Magic”

This was an awesome park back in the MGM days. The Great Movie Ride, the Studio Backlot Tour, Lights Motors Action! to name a few of the great things they’ve taken away. And replaced with things that aren’t much better. I know change is necessary but this is a park where ADDING things without taking things away would be warranted.

We were there mid August on a Saturday. It took us 6 years of saving to be able to go back since our first trip there in 2016. Still, we couldn’t try Rise of the Resistance because it broke after having us do 2 hours of line, spent half the day broken and then wait times started at 3hs. We also couldn’t do Slinky because of storm after another 2hs wait in line. Aerosmith also had lot of delays, we were able to do it only once. Of our park days, this was by far the worst

I miss the movie ride which could have been updated with so many of the more recent blockbusters. Railway is cute but meh, compared to the prior.
I was disappointed that Walt’s Story became a meet and greet for Sully. I love Sully but the queue blocked all the displays of the museum. I hope they relocate that.
Millenium Falcon was very cool and Rise is on the agenda for February.
I found food prices to be outrageous and the worst part of the trip, Luckily my bff brought provisions!

We just got back to the UK from our first ever experience at DisneyWorld last week and for us as a family it was utterly magical – I don’t think the park is broken at all. We were so happy and our dreams literally came true. We had waited for this holiday for 3 years as we originally booked. It in 2019 for 2020.
Anyway, I personally thoroughly enjoyed the Rock’n Coaster and it being Aerosmith themed as I’m a huge fan. I would be utterly disappointed of that we’re too change.
I’d also like to mention that we as a family of 4 (husband and 2 grown children 17 & 20) were on a serous budget – we had less than 2k £1800 in total to be precise which was to cover food, drinks, Ubers and any shopping/spending money to buy merch in the parks and alsi outside shops (malls, Michaels etc) we managed perfectly fine, we were able to do everything we wanted, and buy the things we wanted and have enough to eat and drink. It really is what you make it – we had the most magical time and we can’t wait to come back again ❤️

Some of the major attractions that you simply can’t miss are in Toy Story Land with Toy Story Mania! and Slinky Dog Dash, and then down Sunset Boulevard with Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith.
One of the most magical offerings at Disney’s Hollywood Studios has yet to return at the time of this writing. Fantasmic! is slated to return later this year– and tests are being done now– but the nighttime spectacular has not returned as of yet.

Fantasmic! is performed on select nights only. Be sure to check our Entertainment Schedule, the My Disney Experience app or the Times Guide at Disney’s Hollywood Studios for showtimes.
The amphitheater curves around the lagoon, so wherever you’re seated, you’re perfectly situated to experience the action. Guests sitting in the first couple of rows may get wet during the performance.
Please have your entire party together before entering the amphitheater. You may arrive as early as 90 minutes prior to each show. Be sure to arrive early to get a seat!
Since this is an outdoor show, it is also subject to cancellation due to inclement weather. Showtimes are subject to change.
