Grow a pair of balls and DEAL with it and quit crying like little babies about every little policy! I for one welcome a sane scary farm experience without punks fighting like children all over the park 🤦‍♂️

    1. Steve

Andre, this is nothing more than punishing the entire class because the problem child acted out again.

There is a common factor among nearly every one of these incidents. It isn’t under 17 guests and it isn’t bags.

      1. Doogie Howser

Actually, the fights and gunshot incidents happened earlier this summer at Knott’s, and the chaperoning is a direct result of multiple fights breaking out at the park, which shut them down early, back in July.

Yes, everyone’s being held accountable, because there’s no responsibility being taken for actions. People want parents held responsible for their kids; this is exactly what’s going on.

        1. Paul S

The chaperone policy should be strictly implemented I still see this teens going around without an adult with them besides they should have added security people after the last brawl in Knott’s I was there the next day security was just thesame as before!

      2. Michelle

And what would that common factor be? I’m really curious who you seem to think the problem is since this was a trend that started on tiktok among high school kids – many of which are 17 year olds.

        1. Grace

Clear bags between small & medium size should be required instead. I wonder if chaperone is on a one on one basis becoz if one chaperone has multiple kids or teenagers, how exactly can that person manage to watch them at the same time?

          1. Adriana Lozano

That’s how it should be but unfortunately it’s not. It’s 3 minors per chaperone.

          2. Martha

I have been to the park with five teenagers. I was able to chaperone and keep an eye on all five of them I escorted them to all the rides they wanted to get on and if you have control over them you can manage them.

Then what do you suggest they do? How do you solve the problem? Come on genius give us your solution because y se i dont want to put my family in danger when they are trying to have fun. There is too many other places where t h ey can be hurt ir c or worse at least someone is trying to prevent that.

Maybe make scary farm 21 plus only and allow clear bags only. Om at1 diabetic i need my supplies or i die. Also wear in continent supplies. Guess ill be going to universal instead

Exceptions where made for health issues. 2 disabled women behind me in the security line where allowed to bring their bags in after asking security about it.

      1. Jen

There should be a CLEAR BAG or BACKPACK policy in place.

  3. Kris

I was there opening night and it was fine. About a half hour before security opened they came by and told everyone to bring their bags back to the car. The only guests with an issue where 2 disabled women who where dropped off with bags and where allowed to bring them in. If you can’t go 6-7 hours with just the stuff in your pockets, that’s your problem. You are at a Halloween event, not trekking across Europe.

  4. Cissy

I watched a live stream opening night and the amount of guests allowed in with bags outside of the requirement was apparent. The solution is better, more thorough security and perhaps a clear bag policy instead.

  5. Pj

    Why bring all those bags?
    Not going on a trip.
    Ride the rides have fun.
Bags hold up lines on coasters getting in and out like carryon luggage on a plane

    1. Bravo

I can’t imagine how many phones, wallets, and keys are gonna be lost this season. Think about it! You’re going on roller coasters w loose items in your pockets. Also Knotts has done away w physical maps and you Need your phone to navigate the park w the app they have. I for one have an older phone and the battery dies fast on it. This means I am unable to bring a battery bank w me into the park to ensure I can find my way around and connect w mates if someone gets lost. Also I am a woman and I’m going to Knotts the same week I am on my period. No place to keep hygiene supplies. Most women don’t wear cargo pants w 8 deep pockets like guys do.. heck they don’t even make them for us! A 6x4x2 can’t even hold my wallet phone and keys!

      1. Danielle

I love that you mentioned needing women’s me steal supplies. If I were going to Knott’s (we are pass holders and go often for 10 hours) I would certainly want to bring what I need and I can’t fit that in my pocket. Not being allowed to being a bag big enough to hold a few pads/tampons is insane.

One small bag won’t work for me. I take care of my eighty year old Mother and she has to wear adult diapers, plus she is on a lot of medications, we definitely need a bigger bag.

  7. sho0ter

“This won’t work for me because ….”

People are idiots. If you can’t follow rules or abide by Park security measures then you can’t go. All these entitled people need to learn their place in this world.

    1. Steve

Then when the parks are empty, you can cry you are going out of business.

The policy was not stated when I purchased tickets. A staff member named Landon insisted it was stated online. I bought my ticket at the information office. No one in the office told me about the bag policy. Also, Knotts Scary Farm was a disorganized mess. I documented how the app wasn’t working properly. All night (9/23), I asked for a supervisor. Each staff member said to look for “someone in a black with an earpiece”. Rick, staff member with a yellow shirt, told me that the app was glitching. The confusion had to circling around and wasting half the night following false leads. I spoke to Philip, manager who offered to compensate this confusion by sending me back into the park shortly after midnight with fast passes for the Mazes. All in all, not fun. Not worth it. Customer service sucked. Never again for me. Any other park for Halloween would be much better. Six Flags here I come!!!!

    1. Mike G

Good riddance. You sound like the typical Skx Flags ghetto demographic

  9. Lisa

I’m excited about the people who come here just to announce ” I won’t be coming back; or going there” who tf cares! Good if you can’t follow the rules stay tf home. Quit whining about it.

  10. Mike G

If people have a problem what Fedar Fair and Knott’s Berry Farm have implemented to keep their guests and employees safe, they can keep their whiny a$$es at home

  11. Stacey

So…if you need to have certain medical or hygiene supplies, diaper bags etc. There are these things called, “lockers”. The parks have made them available for years. They just need to be located outside of the park security check area. Seems reasonable.

  12. Denise

I welcome the bag policy, however as a female, it poses a problem for when we need sanitary supplies. If the park were to offer them for free great. But that isn’t the case and depending on your situation, that small bag is not sufficient for 7–9 hrs.

  13. Eric

For the chaparon policy, it is not that bad. The chaparon must accompany the minors into the park entrance. After that, the minors can go on rides and walk around by themselves. The chaparon just needs to remain in the park and be available by phone. I took a couple of students from church. They went on fast rides. We adults watched Krazy Kirk, went on the train, and ate dinner. We met up periodically. Easy, as long as they behave, no problem.
