My unpopular opinons:
1) Avenger’s Campus is indeed overrated. It’s a small courtyard that has only a few points of visual interest, such as the Ancient Sanctum and the Quinjet in the foreground to the Guardians ride, but is otherwise fairly plain courtyard and doesn’t scream “Marvel”. And Pym’s Kitchen is fine, but nothing really unique aside from the conveyor belt and the way food is presented. Though the Choco-Smash is worth the price, as it’s a rather big, dense treat (peanut allergy beware just FYI).
2) Spider-Man Web Slingers is simply not worth the wait. It’s a fun concept, and slinging your arms here-and-there to shoot webs is really friggin’ cool. But it feels so short. After the standard long wait, it’s the one ride that has me asking “is…is that it?”. That and I find it odd there are paid add-ons with Web Tech stuff. It is oddly probably one of the most expensive ride experiences should you choose to go maximum on it.
3) Blue Bayou isn’t worth the price. Yes. Blasphemy. While I will agree with anyone stating the atmosphere and decor is top-notch, I will say the food isn’t worth such a high price. It’s simply fine, just fine. But I have found my experiences at Cafe Orleans to be better all-around if specifically hunting a Monte Cristo. It’s practically the same food at a slightly lower price. If you are going for an “all-out” dinner, I would highly highly highly recommend Napa Rose instead. Also, if you just want to see the interior, I have asked the CMs in the front to snag some photos, and they were absolutely fine with it.
4) Genie and Lightning Lane are abysmal. In my opinion, you got a lot of value with that park ticket in the PFP (Post FastPass) era. And now it feels the opposite where you have to pay out the nose to enjoy the basics. It’s a weird switch.
tower of terror was way better than guardians of the galaxy. soarin over california was 20 times better than over the world and california screamin was better than the incredacoaster.
