Just was there July 25-29 and it was horrible in terms of crowds so thick that you could barely walk. People were so rude, bumping into you with their bodies, scooters, strolllers, etc. I have been to Disney World more than 50 times and never seen crowds this bad. We got there at Rope drop and only had an hour before it got insane.

Disney World limits park entry to a specified amount of people now which is less than they used to let in. So, I don’t know how you think it can be worse than it ever was previously.

They SAY they’re limiting crowds but if you’ve been lately (at least Disneyland) that’s not true. It’s never been busier. ☹️

Oh STFU. You, me and anyone else commenting on here have zero idea of how many people are actually getting into the parks each day. Disney has never released the amount of reservations that are available each day since that system went into place.

      3. A place I would never go to considering how overpriced it is and crowded!

I was there the end of June and arrived about 30 min after opening and didn’t wait long to get in. It was busy but I wouldn’t say it was horrible. Can’t wait to go back

I visited yesterday and I will say its my worst visit ever.
The ride wait times are 75 to 110 minutes.
They require a reservation to visit and its still ridiculous.
    Disappointed

It was worse than that before they set park limits of how many people are now allowed in.

If they are limiting the number going in then why are the parks so packed now. They should be limited The problem is that they say they are limiting capacity and while it may be true the capacity is not the number that counts. Average daily attendance was 51,000 people at Disneyland. Park Capacity is about 81,000 people roughly. So lowering capacity by 25% is 51,000 people. So no change in the number of people on the daily average. On top of that they took out a lot people eaters meaning entertainment. As they increase the entertainment venues and people go to those then the crowds will thin out some but right now there is not enough of that. This is the same at all the parks. What they say sounds good but in reality there is no difference in the numbers.

I was there Friday, July 9, 2022. Not overcrowded, lines not unbearable. It was a great day/night. Will be back soon!!

  5. Harsh Reality

Easy fix to the overcrowdedness. Get rid of Annual passes so all the poors that can only afford it due to low monthly payment wouldn’t be able to go as often. Especially people who stupidly live in Orlando area. You’re an idiot if you base your living somewhere just becayse of a theme park when that city is pure garbage otherwise.

If they are not going to control crowds with the reservation system, why not just get rid of it. Clearly , it is not working.

Woke-ass people visiting a satanic corporation. WTFU.

What do you expect when a lot of people don’t have any morals or values anymore.

I was just there Aug. 8th and it was in the upper 90’s. Extremely hot! I was there for Rope Drop and it was packed! I happened to be at the front about two hours later and the lines to enter the park were extremely long! I switched parks around 1pm and the lines to enter the parks were still very long! The parks were packed all day regardless of the extreme heat!

I went the end of July to meet family in Epcot and it wasn’t bad. I live In FL and never go in the summer. It was hot but I met up with family, had dinner, went on rides, saw shows and beautiful fireworks at Disney Epcot!

I think that these “intense crowds” articles that are constantly posted are to direct attention away from the fact that Disney’s profits are on a decline and that many have turned their backs on them. They want people to believe that they are as popular as ever, and what exactly is deemed an intense crowd when the put a park entry limit to how many people can now enter the park.

You must have missed their earnings report that came out…because they are more profitable than ever.

I put this below in response to someone but I think that all should see this.

I would bet that they put their attendance limits back to the pre-COVID days and only require a reservation for data tracking purposes. The more data they have the better they can plan everything that they do. This company didn’t get this big by sitting back and letting things just play out.

They’re paying far closer attention to crowd numbers than they ever have, and we’ll begin to see tweaks to the system within a year.

  13. I was there August 3rd 2022 and the crowd was HORRIBLE! I enjoy the park less and less with every crowded visit. If you love to ride the rides, you’ll need to purchase a fast pass ($20 per person) or you’ll end up spending more time in line than enjoying the park. A dole pineapple whip took an hour to receive after ordering online. Gone are the days where you can walk up to a restaurant and order on the spot. Online food orders and reservations are the new way and it sucks! Disney, stop being so greedy with large crowds. It takes away the pleasure!

  14. not since the 2010s. that joint has become too freakin’ expensive for the common joe to afford.
    check it out:
the greedy Disney Corp. just made 8 billion dollars this past quarter,
which they fleeced out of park goers with outrageously high entrance ticket prices, food and drink prices, ride prices, so-called PASS prices, parking prices, locker prices, and all the sky-high prices for their souvenir crapola.
the Disney park scene has been remade into HIGHLY CONTROLLED MONEY FLEECING MACHINE WITH THE SOLE PURPOSE OF TAKING EVERY LAST DOLLAR & CREDIT from the millions of people addicted to that form of corporate-enhanced entertainment.

IT’S THE DISNEY STOCKHOLDERS, baby, who reign supreme!!!

Disneyland is NOT, I repeat, is NOT the Happiest Place on Earth! It is a miserable place to be. Way too crowded, way too expensive and not fun at all. They let too many people in because they are so greedy and money hungry. Looooong Lines for everything. I truly think Walt would be turning over in his grave. It’s a horrible experience nowadays. I can’t see returning. It used to be so magical. Those days are loooong gone.

As soon as they announced the Magic Key program, we decided we were done. We saved and spent 12K on our annual visit every year to DL and it just isn’t worth it any more with the crowds. Some SoCal residents go weekly. All we wanted was a nice week once a year.
