I see it differently, what these complaining vfx artist are NOT saying? Marvel pays very well! I know this 1st hand from a buddy who has done work for them! Trust this, if they do create their own vfx division 1st theyll ONLY be working on Marvel projects, not other things that may help cause the fatigue. And once thos other studios arent getting those Marvel dollars… those employees will be lining up to work at Marvel.
That’s not true. I know two graduates from the Ringling School, where Disney recruits most for CGI. I was told they chew them up and spit them out. Look at the locations in the world many of the animators are from. They may pay US wage scale here, but not in other countries and was told the work environment stress is enormous
The effects are fine. How about getting better writers instead? The MCU has been trash for awhile now because of poor writing. Thor: Love and Blunder was all but unwatchable.
Weird how they didn’t arrive at this conclusion sooner, since that’s basically what Lucas did with Star Wars when there wasn’t a special effects shop that could handle his needs. About time, honestly.
