Adults dancing during certain Tokyo Disney shows is not a rare thing. Audience participations in shows, parades, events has been common for decades. What makes Jamboree Mickey different is that this show is intended for kids participation only. The dancing adults you see here are in a separated area, many without kids, also joining in the fun. Since the pandemic, the parks have had very limited entertainment offerings. Not even the current 20th Anniversary event at DisneySea is drawing much attention. So guests are starved for a place to “go crazy” and have some fun. What you see here are hardcore guests participating just as they did in pre-pandemic days when the show premiered at Tokyo Disneyland in 2019. Most videos of that time though, were focused on the kids and characters in front of the stage, not the dancing adults out of camera view.

And the song is rather catchy, even though the Japanese translation can’t use the English spelling of “M-I-C, K-E-Y, M-O-U-S-E”
