I worked quick service at DAK and food was always served on trays cleaned by the giant dishwasher with super hot water. I would eat off then no problem. Used trays were always collected and washed before put on the food line.
Okay I’m tired of this I want my Disney back I want the Magical Express back I want the meal plan back I want the magic bands back I think we’ve all had enough of the penny pinching we pay enough bring back our perks and we will all come back
I have ate off those plastic trays all the time at Disney World and never got sick not one time the cast workers do a great job cleaning the trays if you people don’t trust after people make your food then don’t go where you have to have some fix your meals are put it on a freaking plastic tray stay home and stop complaining.
I worked at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe in WDW MK. All of our trays were collected and ran through a washer with super hot water. I know because of the many times of loading and unloading the trays!! Lol! I’d eat straight off the trays!
Best snack at Disney World I have ever had is the Carrot Cake Cookie. Two muffin top shaped baked carrot cake pieces with loads of creme cheese icing sandwiched between. Yummy!!

I also worked quick service foods at Disneyland and the trays got washed the same as the plates so I’d say they’re just as clean to eat off of.
