  1. This was fun to watch, the elephants are like “who cares if there is a tour going on”. I’ve never seen elephants doing it, but I was peed on by an elephant once at the zoo.

This reporter needs to get a life

    1. Aaron

      What are you talking about?

    2. Buddi46

      Yes Karen

    3. Rita

Why is this considered newsworthy?? Any time people go to a zoo or any attraction where animals are present, it’s altogether possible that they may engage in intercourse. That’s natural behavior. If individuals don’t want to risk seeing such behavior, they should simply avoid the attraction altogether. Same thing for people with children; if one does not want his or her child to see what animals sometimes do, then don’t bring your kids there. If you do want to teach your kids about animals and nature, then brace yourself and find the strength of character to explain to your children how baby elephants are made. For that matter, maybe such folks should just keep kids behind locked doors altogether. After all, you never know when you or your kiddo might come across a couple of neighborhood mutts engaged in intercourse. Terror of terrors! Then what will you do? And for those who may want to know, yes, my husband and I have two kids, age 5 and 9, and once at Busch Gardens we encountered two hippos engaged in intercourse. My little boy asked me what they were doing, I told him, and that conversation was sufficient for the time being. Not newsworthy, people.

  3. So exactly what is the big story here?! This is natural, what all animals do and it’s really no big deal!!!

    1. Aaron

Not everything has to be some big story

      1. Steve

Why was it written? That’s what she means by big story. Like what story is being told at all? Nothing of substance was said here.

        1. Rita

          Precisely — it’s a non-event.

      2. Rita

But this is not a story at all.

  4. Rikki

The group should be happy, with all of the pro-life talk, and with hourly PSAs asking for donations for SAVING THE ELEPHANTS, here are elephants procreating in a semi safe environment

    1. Rita

Good point, and yet the very same people are shocked and mortified by the natural behavior which hopefully results in reproduction. Incomprehensi-ble

  5. EricJ

Old joke: “Q: How do elephants find each other in the tall grass?”
    A: Very nice, thank you…” 😉

Yes, animals naturally continuing the species is one of the perils of live zoos (or, like AK, Nahtazus), and as the previous poster said, the tour guide could have tastefully mentioned their breeding-in-captivity work for endangered species.

  6. Michael Faussett

So what let the elephant grow their species back in numbers we humans have taken their numbers down so fear that they are so close to estinction from hunting and poaching I wish we can stop all elephant hunting and poaching once and for all because I love elephant.🐘🦣🐘🦣🐘🦣🐘🦣

  7. Chris Wood

Oh the horror of it all, two of gods creatures having sex. Why these creatures should be shot. The writer of this article should be shot as well, for making souls like that something disastrous was going on. Or maybe she has never seen real sex before.

    1. Sal

      And ?

  8. Bluffer

It was just that one elephant had broken down and the other elephant was giving him a ride home

    1. Steve

Nearly every story on this site is a Karen “reporter” complaining about something or grasping at straws to pretend they have a scoop. The tabloid shelf has more info on the queen’s scales than this site has about theme parks.

  10. Matt C

As the Trackers would say, “Disney nature!”

    1. Elle

      Best comment!

  11. Ashley moon

That’s nothing. When we were at SeaWorld 20 years ago ( before we knew it was wrong ) me and my kids watched 2 polar bears having sex lol

    1. Sea World animals are always doing it. We saw two beluga whales doing it when we were there. The next visit we made there was a new baby named Pearl. I’ve never seen polar bears have sex, but I’m always curious how animals get it on with each other. The elephant video was enjoyable to watch.

      1. Rita

How shocking and permanently detrimental to you and your kids! Glad you survived relatively unscathed.

  12. Kenn

One thing I learned about nature long ago: If you don’t like it, don’t look.

  13. Rteker

It’s just naturally that nature doing what nature does in the world and people can’t handle that then don’t leave the house ever again lol

    1. Lynn

This is a positive thing!! These elephants were doing a natural thing and maybe in 22 months they will have a baby. Disney works hard at creating a very natural environment for their animals. These animals would not breed if they were not comfortable in their habitat. Hurray for Disney!

      1. Mjean

Well Disney could separate the bull elephant that’s in heat from the females!

        1. Rita

That would defeat the entire purpose just because an online article needs to be written.

  14. Adam

It’s disgusting that Disney allowed this to happen. Why did nobody stop them?

Jesus would be turning in his grave.

    1. EM

I’m guessing you’re kidding right? That’s nature. If they don’t reproduce they would die off. If you really find this disgusting you live a sad life.

    2. KDG

Adam, Jesus is no longer in his grave.

      1. Rita

Wonderful! Belugas are so beautiful! How lovely that a youngster beluga had been born by your next visit! That’s great!

    3. Womabt

Joel, your understanding of sarcasm is as stellar as your spelling.

      1. Rita

Relax, all, seems that Adam and Joel have an issue with one another . Grow up, boys.

  15. Kelly Connerton

    Um………….So?

  16. Mike

Some of you are ridiculous! The author never said it was bad or that it was some kind of revelation. Simply sharing a video of a tender and funny moment in nature. Take a chill pill.

    1. Be Nice

Exactly Thank you! You said exactly what I was thinking.
Why do we have to find fault with everything, not all news is put out there to be negative 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♀️

  17. Disney apologies that the elephants had normal heterosexual coitus, and promises to only have lgbtq+~€£¥ elephants in the future. Also any man in a dress during this tour will receive free counseling.

  18. Sheila Freund

Nature’s Biology lesson–the best way for kids to learn!

  19. Jim

I’m no zoologist, but I believe I’m correct saying this is one of the things that animals do. When my kids were small we witnessed a similar situation at a park. “They’re playing piggyback” quelled our kids confusion. If kids are old enough to understand what they are seeing, then they’re old enough to understand the how and why.

  20. Larry F.

One of the elephant’s car must’ve broke down by the farmers barn.
    Brown chicken brown cow…

  21. pvcole

Actually, they are not having sex they are mating. Only humans “have sex”

  22. Cityfolk

Tell me you’re from the city without telling me you’re from the city….

**writes article titled “Animals having sex!”**

    😂

  23. Steve

If they weren’t the same gender, this is problematic and Disney will have to do better NY employing more LGBTQ+ elephants. We just need to figure out how to ask elephants their pronouns and we can close this case.

  24. Luci

SOOOOO WHAT. Disney created an environment for animals to be in their natural habitat. What do you expect.?
    NOTHING WRONG HERE!
maybe parents need to start explaining nature to their kids early. And they too can learn from it too. SMH!

    1. Rita

      Luci, I agree with you.

  25. Vicky

That is a good one, sad to say but you’re probably right 😆 🤣

  26. Sandra

Chill people. There was nothing wrong with the lighthearted story on this in INSIDE the MAGIC. What should she write about…the latest popcorn bucket shortage? Y’all act like it was reported in the National Inquirer.

  27. Adam

Maybe they’re trying to teach us the right way because obviously we have forgotten

  28. When our niece was little we were visiting Great Adventure in NJ and we encountered 2 lions in a similar activity. When she asked us what they were doing, we told her they were playing Leap Frog and the one on top was having a little trouble getting over. That seemed to satisfy the 4 year old.

  29. Rita

Me White, really?? Do you have to go there?? I truly hope you’re kidding but I feel like you’re not. And so I allow myself to be dragged into your odd comment. If indeed you’re not joking, answer me this. If indeed two same-sex animals are out there fornicating, they are creatures of God, created by the Almighty. All natural.

  30. When you see animals in the wild you should expect this to happen. If you want animal behavior to be controlled GO TO A ZOO
