I’ve been to a few parks that has small snack stands in the line area. El Toro at great adventure had a chorro stand. And a few rides at Hershey Park had stands but were barely used.

While I despise the charge for fast passes, I actually am a fan of snack stands in the middle of the standby queue. It’s optional, so not one is required to buy it, but if you get hungry or thirsty in the queue, you don’t need to leave the queue to get food.
I may be wrong but isn’t there a rule that you can’t “hold” a place in line for someone? Or something to that tune? It’s been a few years so? That was every parents job while the kids got food or the bathroom. Then when they were close you showed up to get in line.

Correct! It was there when I went the last week of October. 2021. No one bought anything & that room was hot! No A/C that week.
