  1. This is a parenting issue and nothing more. If the parents gave a rats they would not have their minor children carrying beer, especially in a Disney theme park. Security should have taken the beer cups and poured it out, plain and simple. I don’t think removing the family from the parks would have been fair to the kids, but I definitely think there should have been some consequence for the parents.

      1. Tabitha

Nothing to see here Sarah! There is nothing magical about Disney, it’s just another fancy capitalistic business. So “especially at Disney” is invalid logic. The kid was just carrying a full beer and handed to parent. Literally nothing to see here, except if the parents got kicked out, I would call out Disney for excessive authoritarianism. “Welcome to Disney, the most micro-managed place on Earth!”

        1. Pdub

Beer cost at least $15 a glass.
I’m glad the kid didn’t drop it

        2. JMR

Public forum. Rules against a minor handling liquor. Tough nuts if you can’t follow a simple rule and the punishment Disney may mete out.

        3. Mason

          Every business is capitalist.

        4. Jerry

Spot on Tabitha! Maybe a minor lack of judgement from the parents, but who hasn’t got a beer for your parents. Disney and the rest of the world needs to relax and mind their own business!

          1. Susan Henderson

I never got any kind of drink for my parent. They had good boundaries for them to follow; myself in kind.

      2. Thomas

Couldn’t of said it better myself. Just a fyi, I know this is in Florida but here in Texas a parent can give a child alcohol to drink and it’s perfectly legal as long as the child is served by the parent even in restaurants. Florida doesn’t allow it in establishments but who knows where this family came from. I drank beer with dinner long before I was a teenager and never had a problem.

        1. Alwah

Same! In Wisconsin. You can drink at any age with a parent!

      3. Allen Rioux

There just carrying it don’t see a problem

      4. It is illegal for a minor to possess beer, period. There is no “ Karen” , Sturgeon.

    1. Ron

This looks like a kid delivering it not drinking it. Nothing wrong with that.

      1. timothy wayne french

where did he get it? did the vendor sell it to him?

        1. Cyn

I was wondering the same thing

        2. Karri

I would bet mom was saving them a place to sit or see fireworks while dad and the kids got the drinks and possibly snacks. Dad probably told the kids to grab what they could to take to mom.

        3. Ben S

Or how about the parent had to use the restroom so they had their kid wait and hold it for them until they were finished in the restroom…..

        4. Vivi

I don’t know why theme parks even sell beer. How is that “family friendly”? I always have found that redundant and a very big mistake for “family friendly” environments

      2. Kay

Umm 🤔 I think it’s illegal to touch alcohol into your 21 of age I’m not mistaken that’s what’s the problem

        1. JPSeamen

“Running”. Don’t know how high you have to be to think that is running, the kid is clearly carefully walking

        2. Nikki

Nope, servers in restaurants have to be 18 to serve alcohol. You have to be 21 to pour (bartender).

      3. Meme

If your not old enough to drink it. Legal age is 21. I would never go to Texas. Horrible State. Also 21 is legal age to buy, handle and drink any alcoholic beverage period. If a vendor, adult or Parent, allows a minor to hold a opened container it is against the Law. Endangering the welfare of a minor. So if Texas allows children to to drink alcohol then it explains the brain dead politicians and citizens. Disgraceful!

        1. Daniel

          👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

      4. I agree. For all we know, dad was right behind them. Hands were full so he gave the kid the beer to carry. He’s not sipping from it. Perhaps they didn’t know the rule that kids can’t have alcohol in their hand. I didn’t. I think they need to be given the benefit of the doubt. To me it looks like he was carefully walking.

    2. Ron

The same Karens complaining about a kid delivering their parents drinks are ok showing their kids drag queen hour. Sickos

      1. Galina

The real sicko here is the dude who is obsessed with people’s sex lives and sex organs. You.

        1. Jack Sparrow

Just keep your hands off the kids.

        2. Davidc

Actually it would appear that the people holding the drag queen parties for small children the ones obsessed with sex. Along with the indoctrination of small children

      2. H

        Jfc that’s a stretch.

      3. Celeste

In FLORIDA, it is AGAINST THE LAW, for anyone under the age of 18 to consume, purchase, or SERVE alcohol. As for your other comment, I could say the same about the “sickos” who are perfectly happy to allow their 10 year old to drink alcohol and shoot guns. I’m sure your parents weren’t concerned about the brain cells that alcohol kills in your brain either, which explains a lot too.

        1. Christine

I’ll take it you don’t drink even casually. But you never asked your kid to get you a beer out of the refrigerator? Or is that illegal too

    3. Bill

Dad was prolly in line trying to carry all their damn food and everything else and needed an extra set of hands to carry the beer to his wife. The line for that place is nuts. I’ve done this dozens of times. My kid ain’t drinking the damn thing he’s a pack mule for the moment and we spend a fortune on beers and snacks.

      1. Karri

        That’s exactly what I said.

      2. Kay

No excuse dad should have food to kids and carried the drinks that would be best cps should be involved

        1. Ben S

Yeah, let’s give the giant, heavy tray with the entire families food to the kid instead of a single drink that he can actually carry. That makes sense……

        2. Z

          Omg. You suck. Go away.

        3. Steve

You win the Karen of the day award.

    4. Teacherlady

What about the vendor that sold the boy the beer? Isn’t it illegal in Florida for minors to purchase alcohol?

      1. Angel Roldan II

No vendor sold the kid the beer, smh

    5. Laurie McGuiness

You are right Sarah! And for the ppl calling her Karen grow up! This is strictly a parenting issue and nothing more. Kids should not be carrying liquor with them at a family park whether they touched it or not. We need to do better with teaching them right from wrong

      1. Z

Go away. Nothing wrong with kids carrying beer.

    6. Ty

Some people need to calm down. While having the child carry the alcohol might raise an eyebrow for some folks, but unless the kid is actually drinking it, then lighten up. I wouldn’t personally have my kid carry my alcoholic beverage, but I wouldn’t scold another parent for it either. To each his own. You worry about you and I’ll worry about me. The security at Disney is great at times, but also extreme like Russia at other times.

    7. Shop Rat

Absolutely not. This is where security has a calm discussion with the parents about the public perception of their child carrying beer from one parent to the other. Pouring out an EXPENSIVE beer is overkill.

    8. Galina

Tell me you aren’t a parent, without telling me that you aren’t a parent. You are the sort of person I hope doesn’t actually go into the parks. Do you also want things thrown out if kids help carry groceries from the car into the house? It’s such a ridiculous overreach, I can’t even take you seriously. Grow up.

    9. Sky

I completely agree with you! The PARENTS are the problem here.

    10. Matt

Handing a beverage to your parents is hardly a death sentence worthy crime. If it was a coke or Pepsi would you feel the same? Those are probably more dangerous for kids than a beer would be. If the kids were drinking it, then it’s a potential parenting issue. Carrying it to mom is harmless and something 99% did when we were kids.

    11. RubyBlue

My kids carried a beer to their dad countless times. The parenting issue is if you don’t trust your kids to do that without drinking it. That said, I don’t think there’s any need for alcohol at Disney parks

    12. Dave

Yes removing them all that’s the consequences

  2. Carolyn

I think that it was wrong on the parents to have the children carry the beer for them . the parents should be banned from all Disney parks forever!

    1. Jonathan

Who gives a damn if the kids are carrying a drink for the parents. It’s no different than a water or coke as long as they’re not drinking it.. y’all are worried about some trivial nonsense

      1. Beb

This post should be removed. The kid’s a minor and should not be depicted.

      2. Davidc

Just personal opinion here. Where highly profitable, I have always felt that the expansion of the use of alcohol in Disney parks has been a huge mistake. Anyone who’s been at Epcot at the right times can see the effect. Fortunately the practice is still very guarded in the Magic Kingdom. But why people feel the need to have alcohol at the ready when they go to a theme park is mind-boggling to me. That being said, the Optics are pretty questionable here. It is a bad picture for Disney and the family to have a child carrying a beer through the park. I’m pretty sure security simply made the parents aware of that. And probably let it go with that. No one needs to be thrown out. No one needs to be banned. As was stated probably carrying it for Dad. As I’m pretty sure and confident that absolutely no vendor would sell it to a child. They always require ID if age is suspect. And in this case age is unquestionable.

    2. White

Yes love to ruin kids fun because of parents

    3. Ron

People like you should be banned.

    4. D

      I hope you’re joking…..

    5. Z

      Go away. That’s stupid.

    6. Christine

Yes let’s punish those kids and not let them back in the park’s till they are adults SMH 🤦🏻‍♀️

  3. Judith Haney

What did those Parents really do wrong. They know their Children. I’ll put a pound to the penny if their Children couldn’t be trusted, they would not have permitted them to manage the Alcohol. These days #Disney isn’t in the position sweep another breezeway when #Disney is having such a dusty breezeway themselve’s.

    1. Chris

Except for the fact that it is ILLEGAL to have a minor carry alcohol, I suppose.nothing. really why do people think it is ok to let minors handle alcohol?

      1. Calen

Illegal to carry ??? What .. you know I’m most states it’s still legal for parents to let their kids have a drink. it’s not allowed by most restaurants but it’s still legal. Carrying a beer from the table the parents left it at or bench to bring it to them isn’t illegal. Good lord I swear people like you make up laws. Heck if you left your anxiety meds in your purse at a table and your kid ran to grab your purse for you. Should you get a felony for your kid now illegally holding scheduled drugs ? Nah kid just grabbed it and brought it too you. I bet you call cps on people who let their kids play outside

        1. restaurant worker

In the state of Florida, at least for restaurants, it is not allowed for minors (under age 21) to deliver alcohol to a guest.

I believe they can still sell it, but they would have to have a 21-or-older deliver it to the table.

Disney is probably just covering their donkey. I don’t think it should be a bannable offense, but the parents should get an explanation of the state laws so they don’t get into further trouble.

          1. mischagogo

Incorrect. I worked as a server from 18 years old and up and was able to sell alcohol and deliver it to the table. Often people would say, “Take a shot with us!” and I would have to say, sorry, I can’t. There may be a further distinction between wine, beer, and hard liquor but this was my experience.

          2. Ben

They aren’t delivering it to a guest. They’re handing it to their parent who either left it at the table or had them hold it while in the restroom.

        2. R

IT IS INSIDE THE PARKS AND RESORTS. READ THE RULES BEFORE YOU SPEAK.

        3. Bgl

I can attest that in Virginia Tennessee North Carolina West Virginia Washington DC South Carolina Georgia Florida Texas and California that it is illegal everywhere for anyone under the age of 18 to even touch a container that contains any alcohol whether it be in a restaurant or in public and illegal for anyone under the age of 21 to consume regardless of in a restaurant or public atmosphere. What they choose to do in their own homes behind closed doors out of public View is completely up to them.

        4. JMR

No. It’s illegal in Florida for a minor to possess alcohol – even “just carrying it”. Disney is private property. If they choose to enforce the “rule of the law” it’s their choice.

        5. Celeste

Yes Calen, it IS illegal in FLORIDA to CARRY an alcoholic beverage if you are under 18. Whether you are serving it as an official server in a restaurant or not, it’s still considered serving BY LAW because they are in a PUBLIC setting. If you’re in a private setting, then yes, it’s a bit more lenient, but in a public setting it is absolutely illegal in FL. No one is “making up laws”, perhaps you should do a little research. FL law states you have to be 21 to POSSESS (which this child, whether they are consuming it or not, currently possesses the beer) alcohol.

        6. CHERYL GATTUSO

Don’t know the law in Florida, but where I am from, New Jersey, yes, it is illegal for a minor to carry alcohol.

      2. Sue

People are crazy if they think thisbis alright doesn’t matter if he didn’t drink any it’s still not legal for a child to carry alcohol let only all the drink ass people in the parks and people have no brains it’s 90 plus a outside and that’s the last thing you should be drinking. But stupid is as stupid does.

        1. Based on your grammatical skills, it would appear you are an expert in stupid.

        2. R

          👍@sue

      3. Kevin

It is notmillegal.to.have a minor carry alcohol. What nonsense are you talking about. It’s.illegal.to have a minor serve alcohol, big difference there.

        1. F

@kevin IT IS INSIDE THE PARKS AND RESORTS. READ THE RULES BEFORE YOU SPEAK.

        2. ABC agent

Maybe in your state but I have worked as an ABC consultant if you will multiple States and it is a chargeable offense to allow a child to carry any container that has alcohol in it whether it be closed or otherwise. So a child under the age of 18 holding a beer that is closed or even a cup of beer is illegal. Like I said it might not be like that in all states but it is in most States a rule and law

      4. Kay

        Exactly

    2. Janie

Many different countries and cultures do not have the same rules and laws about alcohol as the US. I can remember a Canadian father giving his son money to run to the camp store to buy him cigarettes while we were his neighbor camping. He was shocked that in the US they would not sell his son cigarettes for him.

    3. Ron

Exactly. Don’t trust the people allowing their kids to view drag Queen shows and perversion. I trust the parents sending their kid for beers all day.

      1. Randal

Ron, you’re definitely that guy who brings whatever he’s pissed off about for the day into EVERY argument.

    4. RubyBlue

      Totally agree! 👍🏻

  4. Laura

Maybe, since it’s a family venue, they shouldn’t sell alcohol.

    1. SCOTT m Lee-ROSS

And there is nothing about being a family venue that would imply that it should not sell alcohol. There is nothing wrong with consuming alcohol.

      1. Candace

        Says the alcoholic…

    2. R

      @LAURA 👍

  5. HGlaucemic

People need to get a grip. Children aren’t gonna burst into flames or instantly become alcoholics if they touch it or even taste a little of it. This is Karenism at its best.

    1. Under current Florida law, even holding an open container of alcohol including a beer is a misdemeanor and both the minor and their parent can be charged if the parent allows the minor to carry the beer. As a parent, you are not allowed to give or allow your minor children to carry or consume alcohol.

      1. HGlaucemic

That’s nice. But irrelevant. Notice the article says Disneyland and not Disney World.

        1. Celeste

          @HGlaucemic

Your comment is irrelevant as well since the alcohol laws are EXACTLY THE SAME in CA and in FL, but nice try. 🙄

    2. R

Do you really think it’s OK to go to another state, break their laws or rules just because YOU don’t agree with them OR YOU were too lazy and ignorant to find out what they are? The parks have a DO NOT DO LIST or you could be REMOVED AND BANNED. Read it BEFORE future posts. If YOU think breaking rules or laws is just fine because YOU don’t agree with them then YOU are the problem. If the security people had removed them from the parks which they are legally entitled to do, it would have ruined the entire experience for those kids and their arrogant, ignorant would blame everything and everyone else except their own refusal to comply with the laws and regulations. So ALL YOU people trying to fight and argue any of that IS the problem.

  6. Jeff linna

Who the hell sold them the beer????

    1. Auggie

I guarantee you that no one sold them the beer. Presumably the kid(s) were moving the alcohol to their parents from somewhere the parents had left them after they were asked to do so.

  7. Venca

What are we actually shaming.. and who are we blaming.. a parent sending their kid for a beer? Or Disney for selling it? What’s the full story here??

    1. Auggie

Disney definitely did not sell the beer to the kids, most likely the parents asked the children to grab the drinks from somewhere they’d previously left them, or maybe they were carrying them because the parents hands were full, or something similar.

  8. R

Drinking all day in Florida heat with children under your supervision should be a no brainer. Obviously, this is not the first time these losers have made their kids get them their drinks. Also obvious is, if they are so lax in those morals in a public place with cameras and secuity watching them then I’m sure they have absolutely having “only” a couple of drinks before driving.

    1. SCOTT m Lee-ROSS

Wow, Can I have the lottery numbers? since you seem to be psychic.

    2. Calen

Hahah oh wow you’re so just…. I bet you’ve been divorced once or twice. That or have the most miserable partner that feels stuck . Having someone so high and mighty holier than thou, as yourself would just be awful to be with. I hope you don’t have kid. Your personality type is the type that the kids go full on wild once free from your prison of a life
The people I know with parents that think and talk like you. Are the ones that once in college do everything to the extreme. Been to a lot of funerals of kids whose parents are like you..

      1. Gryf

Your spouse must hate his/her life

    3. D

Yes, cause a single beer is cause to say “drinking all day”….
      Piss off

  9. NWIL Lady

Yes!!!!! Thank-You. It is not a concert or other venues…it is a theme park that is known worldwide & they advertise how family/kid oriented they are. Plus the kids don’t need to see their parents drink in a public place. But how did the kids get the beer? Shouldn’t the vendor have ID’d them? Obviously they are underage. Mayb nit selling alcohol in the parks would cut down fights too. Mayb if they have too only sell alcohol in the more exclusive? Sit down restaurants & they can’t leave with alcohol, unless it is in a closed, sealed container to have later in their room at the hotels?

    1. Calen

Is it really such a sin lol for anyone to be seen having a beer in a public place? God you should visit other countries. Having a kid carry a beer to the other parent isn’t even a bit of a big deal… It’s like bringing them a coke. The kids not drinking it. Relax. If you make a big deal about something like beer Infront of a kid. Guess what’s the first thing they are going to do when they have the opportunity… Drinking. Happens literally always to kids that had overly strict up tight parents. go off to college or worse in highschool and overdo it. God this is the type of parenting that made me go to way to many funerals before I was 25.

      1. F

        👍 to NWIL Lady
Calen is in need of some serious mental health help.

  10. Nat

Obviously one parent was buying the beer and had the kids take the beer over to the other parent. No biggie. I once accidentally had a sip of my dad’s beer at the Epcot pavilion. I thought it was something else. No one saw.

I don’t see a problem with Disney selling alcohol

  11. Brad

I’ve seen several instances where it’s got out of hand.
I personally believe that it should be limited to eating establishments and not kiosks around the park or able to be removed from inside seating areas.

  12. Thor

Jesus. The kids weren’t chugging it. And in most states where the citizens don’t have their heads crammed up themselves, it’s perfectly legal for a parent to permit their children to carry out even consume alcohol. Lighten up. Lifetime bans. Grow up.

    1. R

You are part of the problem.

      1. Steve

        What problem is that, Karen?

  13. Wing

I agree with you, but in a long run it’ll probably save the parents money considering how much Disney is starting to suck

  14. RPM

I’m not going to judge but I can say with certainty that I never allowed my children to touch alcohol at all until they were in college and on their own.
I would never have even considered having one of my children carry alcohol for me. To this day, my children are very discreet about drinking around their Mother. The funny part is that she knows they try to be discreet around her and it amuses her.

  15. Jonathan

Who gives a damn if the kids are carrying a drink for the parents. It’s no different than a water or coke as long as they’re not drinking it.. y’all are worried about some trivial nonsense

    1. Calen

      God right

    2. R

Having minors for any reason carry or deliver alcohol IS against park and resort rules. Punishable by removal or being banned. Wouldn’t that have been nice for those kids.
Adults too lazy to get their own booze they ordered is pretty pathetic. Then again why not just let folks piss in the fountains, or is that a rule you like? You don’t get to choose which rules or laws YOU will or will not break because they are inconvenient for YOU. You are not special and the rules are there for everyone to abide by. If you don’t like it, don’t go.

      1. You're a walking L

Geez, give it a rest Karen. You act like they’re commiting murder or actually drinking the beer. They’re carrying a drink over to their mom, thats literally it, because their dad’s hands were most likely full, probably with food for the family. Literally any country other than the US and this wouldn’t be an issue. Give it a break

      2. Steve

        Get a life you psycho.

  16. Leeann Jacket

That’s why Walt didn’t want alcohol in his parks. The fights & this.

  17. Origamisteve

It comes down to a liability issue for Disney. Most certainly Disney did not sell alcohol to these kids but the kids were moving it from one location to another based on countless other comments. The problem here is the context doesn’t matter, what does matter is its ILLEGAL for a MINOR to CARRY alcohol no matter the circumstances. Another title for this in a different scenario could have been “Disney fined for allowing children to carry alcohol.” Disney doesn’t want to be fined or lose their liquor license so obviously security has to say something for legal reasons. Once Disney loses their license all of you will be pissed they didn’t scold parents properly and ruined it for everyone else. No pleasing anyone. This is coming from someone that purchases alcohol at the parks and wouldn’t dare allow a kid to even touch my drink for this exact reason.

  18. Miguel

This ridiculous “piece” is casting shade on a white family due to the numerous reports of black people over the country drinking and getting high, fighting and basically endangering other peoples lives (while at Disney, Knots Berry Farm, Six Flags) and shutting down parks. When do those ppl get held accountable??

    1. Manny

Nice try with the Spanish name.

  19. Russ Armstrong

So Disney thinks it is fine to propagandize children to unnaturally change gender, but they can’t carry alcohol.
    How convoluted is that.

  20. There sure are a lot of miserable liberals in here doing their usual whining about everything under the sun that is quite literally none of their business. To be completely honest I’m surprised. It’s minors with alcohol. And everyone know how the libs love themselves a vulnerable child that escaped being aborted. The kids should be thankful they didn’t get whisked away to the libs pedophile island.

  21. ralph

the way i read this it sounds like the child went and purchased the beer for the adult and is bringing it to them if so how did they buy it

    1. Ben S

They didn’t. Disney would never sell to a minor. They either were told to sit and wait with it while their parents were in the restroom and once they were out, they gave the drink to their mom. Or, the father had the kid take the drink to his mom while the father carried food to the rest of the family

  22. Bill

Okay, so I guess my mother-in-law (RIP) and I should have been sent up for 10 years for what we did. We always had gin & tonic before dinner at our summer home, and we taught my daughter how to make them when she was probably 9 years old. She is now 35, happily married and doing just fine.
On the other hand, I don’t think I would have let one of my children carry my beer at Disney, I’d be afraid them might spill it. But I do let them buy it for me when we go out, which we do on a fairly regular basis.

  23. Walt

So many of you Disney adults need to STFU already and mind your own business.

    1. Jack Sparrow

      Calm down groomer!

  24. Adrienne

Disney is not that strict, I got reprimanded when I worked quick service and I IDd someone who truly looked underage. The kept refusing to show me his ID and got mad because Im thought he looked 16-18 and explained our laws and my leaders pulled me in the office.

  25. Drea

It’s not just a family venue so I strongly disagree. Many people love starwars ect. that are adults my hubby is planning a trip with his friend I’m quite sure there will be drinking involved. If Florida has a law about minors carrying drinks they shouldn’t do it. Getting kicked out for the year is acceptable. They’re not calling police there’s rules at every theme park you break them you get kicked out everyone should know this. Not saying I agree or disagree. Their rules are their rules.

  26. I do think kicking them out was kinda far. As a kid my brother and I would get beer out of the fridge for my dad and there was nothing wrong with that. I get it could be concerning but maybe the security should’ve asked questions instead of kicking them out of a place that they spent probably over $300 to get into

  27. Mickeymouse3

For cryin out loud. Let the kid tote the beer for the pack mule dad and reward them with a sip afterwards. Just remember to say “Amen” out loud afterwards. That way you can claim it as a religious experience. Lord knows I’ve praised God a time or two in my day.
    HAH!!

    1. F

You are a blasphemous pig. Not funny and bigotted.

      1. You're a walking L

How are they bigoted? Grow up.

  28. Pk

How many times have have I said “here, hold this for a sec while I… ” and then did whatever it was that I need to readjust, pick something up, move, blah blah blah, so on and so forth? They aren’t drinking it, serving it, repressing, just holding it!! I am a huge Old School Disney fan. This woke new school Era is rediculous.

    1. D

      Ridiculous*
But I do agree with you

    2. Maggie

      I agree completely

  29. tti

Yes it’s a parenting issue, BUT why would the concession stand even be giving beer to a minor?

  30. tti

Yes it’s a parenting issue, BUT why would the concession stand even be giving beer to a minor??

    1. Maggie

The dad probably handed it to them and said “go put these on the table”. Security should’ve just watched and waited to see if they broke any actual rules.

  31. Ray

Why sell it in the parks? Why not keep it at the Resorts? Probably, why the fights are more and more. Some people can’t handle their acohol especially in the Florida heat. There is more here than just your kids. There are other families and their kids trying to enjoy their vacation.

    1. Bob

      Money.
These Disney adults are stealing a kid’s paradise cause they can’t go a day without drinking.
No alcohol in the park like before.

  32. F

Hey just let every one use the fountains as toilets.
Shoot their own fireworks into the crowds.
    Fight in lines with weapons
Carry and smash glass containers everywhere so toddlers can stumble on it and get hurt.
Smoke on the rides and in lines.
Ah that would be just magical wouldn’t it.

Rules are there for a reason. It does not matter if you like them, agree with them or wish to abide by them. Don’t like that then don’t go and don’t waste time b$tching about things you know nothing about.

    1. Jack Sparrow

Calm down and wear your compliance muzzle like a good little Democrat.

      1. Maggie

        Lol so true

    2. Steve

Now we know you are the same Karen posting under at least two names. How many of the Karen’s on this story are just you pretending to be someone else?

      You are seriously creepy.

  33. Maria

I think the funniest thing about all these comments and the story is that some people are saying the dad’s went and got the food and the kids had to carry the beer, while the lazy ass mother’s sat in the shade. How about mom you want a beer go get it. I would sit in line when I wanted something. I just got home from Disney. I did not make my 13 year old carry anything that was not his cause as soon as he buys something she’s gonna say that’s yours carry it, Am I wrong I know I did it to my son. Thats yours you carry it, so guess what if it’s mine I carried it including a beer, a coke or water.

    1. Ben

I get what you’re saying about the mom just being lazy, but it is Disney. If you’re getting food, you gotta secure whatever space you can get so that you can eat. I imagine that’s what she was doing.

      1. Maggie

Exactly. Mom was probably just attempting to save the table.

    2. Bad Mickey

How about we don’t know whether or not the mom had a disability that prevented her from being able to help Dad with carrying the beer/food

Not enough shown in video to pass judgement on the mother.
      JMO

  34. This is another reason Disney is the happiest place on Earth.

  35. Steve

15 years ago my g/f, now wife, stayed at the Polynesian for a week. She had just turned 21, but looked younger. She couldn’t wait to flash her ID but wasn’t carded once. She was pretty ticked off.

  36. JPSeamen

“Running”. Don’t know how high you have to be to think that is running, the kid is clearly carefully walking

  37. Amazing the puritanical views on here. Some people up in arms because a child is handing beer to their parents but will stand up against any attempts to have the same kids protected from gun wielding idiots.

    1. Jack Sparrow

Shooting kids is already against the law Jethro.

      1. Maggie

No one said anything about shooting kids

    2. Maggie

This is why I prefer Universal Studios nowadays.

  38. Realitycheque

    Why doss anyone care

  39. NG

The comments on this article are just outstanding. Sooo much anger. It’s more entertaining than actually going to the parks. Thanks everyone!

    1. Steve

The only fans Disney has left are horrible Twitter Karens that live to mind other people’s business. Normal people are gone.

  40. JMR

The “elephant in the room” is the question of how the kid comes to be handling the drink to begin with. Obviously carrying it. If he was with the father as he purchased for himself & mother, should have just waited. Mom could have waited an extra minute till Dad brought it over.

  41. JMR

Friend handed her drink to her niece once while at DCA so she could find something in her purse. Security not only dumped the drink, they escorted them out and suspended their passes for a month. This was back in 2015.
Example of how severe they can be.

  42. Trump 2020

How about no alcohol at all. You alkies can’t go one day without drinking?

  43. Vince Gonzales

I love how some of the parents on here are saying, “What’s the problem? It’s just a kid carrying a beer”, but if that kid accidentally spilled that beer all over THEM, the first thing they would probably say is “What the frig is a KID doing carrying beer? Isn’t that illegal?”

  44. Maggie

If Disney gave me a hard time over my kid fetching my beer for me, I’d laugh in their face. It’s one thing if the kids took a sip (which we did all the time as kids), but simply bringing it over to their mother shouldn’t have raised any eyebrows. The kids didn’t buy it or consume it. These rules are overbearing.

  45. Angela

Maybe they shouldn’t be selling beer at Disney.

  46. Matt

This is hardly a big deal. The kids weren’t drinking it, they were carrying it to an adult. I bet if I polled 500 people age 30+ 499 of them would recall grabbing beer for mom/dad as a kid. I bet 450 of them would recall sneaking a sip when they did it. I’m all about rules being in place because not everyone can use common sense, but this isn’t even the tiniest of issue. Kids get things for their parents, isn’t that the oldest joke in the world? Why have kids if you aren’t going to use them to carry the groceries or go get you things…

  47. Michael Murphy

Is this really what we’re worried about in America guys…( Land of the Free; remember).
It’s a little trailer park ish. Like hey boy get me a beer out the fridge. But other than that you know the kids couldn’t have bought it so they were just holding it. And they obviously weren’t drinking it because it was full.
Have you ever seen 15 bucks on a beer at a park set it down just to have somebody take it or spill it or something else? I never have but I’ve seen it happen and the problem is people don’t give a crap about anyone else except for everyone else that is not themselves. United we stand divided we fall remember guys. How about all the people that are standing around watching this happen and not saying anything. Seems like maybe she was like can you hold this for a second I got to do something but, I only seen a short clip so how do any of us really know what happened?

  48. Edwin

There’s nothing wrong with daughters or sons carrying alcoholic beverages for their parents.

  49. Derek

Personally, this doesn’t bother me at all. However, disney could lose thier liquor license over this, so i understand the reaction from security.

  50. Sebastian Medina

Take this child’s photo off this site! How dare you exploit Disney guests like this. It is none of your business what this child is carrying or to whom.

    1. Steve

This site is a trashy liberal tabloid by Karens for Karens.

  51. Scott Ivlow

I wonder how many servers that work in Disney Restaurants that are under 21 and still being alcohol drinks to customers table. What’s would be illegal is is if some one under 21 poured as served it. This happens all over Florida where serve are allowed to bring drinks to tables. Basically the kids weren’t served alcohol beverages but just acting servers. There is a difference. I’m sure the security guard knew this and didn’t do anything.

    1. American Patriot

And if this was a catholic or Christian convention, engaging in illegal acts with minors with alcohol in the picture , would have been sponsored by Disney.

  52. CheeseHead

    They’re probably from Wisconsin.
No legal drinking age as long as they’re with a legal guardian.
I’ll bet y’all are fact checking the crap out of this😂😂😂

  53. BECAUSE

WHY is DISNEY Selling ALCOHOL in a Childrens theme park? At least they ( Disney) say it s. LET DISNEY ANSWER

    1. American Patriot

Why do you hate America so much ?

  54. OneVoice

Whats the big deal? People think its OK for children and teens to transition themselves at an extremely young age. So who cares if a couple of kids were drinking alcohol or even smoking. Old enough for a Sex change, then your old enough to drink and smoke. Simple.

    1. American Patriot

Just as long as they don’t vote democrat and swear eternal loyalty to trump.

  55. Mark

Seriously my job as a kid was mow the lawn and fetch dad a beer. I turned out just fine .lol

    1. American Patriot

Depends on how you answer the following two questions
1 – Do you vote communist Democrat?
2 – Do you accept our Lord Donald Trump as your one and only Savior, and take an oath of loyalty to Him?

  56. Marianne

Sooo, it’s okay to teach five year olds about masterbation and homosexuality but don’t you dare let them carry your beer!

    1. American Patriot

Yes, because both give great pleasure especially with beer. In the name of our Lord and Savior Donald Trump, Amen. All Sieg Heil He!!!

  57. RubyBlue

Disney parks should be alcohol, drug and tobacco-free. Period. If you can’t spend a day with your family without a beer, you have a problem.

    1. American Patriot

Walt Disney took drugs, smoked and drank. He was violent and cold to his children and wife. He was a hard and sexually repressed bitter man but deeply Catholic but at least he wasn’t gay.

    2. American Patriot

Walt Disney took drugs, smoked and drank. He was violent and cold to his children and wife. He was a hard and sexually repressed bitter man but deeply Catholic but at least he wasn’t not-straight. You know what I mean.

  58. Tyler W

Don’t people disappear from their cruises regularly and this is the story they want to cover? Disney is and has been a pathetic excuse of authoritarianism trying to tell people how to live their lives and making this kid’s life hel before it even starts.

    1. American Patriot

Nonsense. Disney only wants the best for you, and charge you premium for it. And if you refuse then you’re a communist America hater.

  59. Kyle

Kid was just bringing it to parents… nothing to see here

    1. American Patriot

      Alcohol turns kids into Democrats.

  60. Emily

Shame on you for not blurring out the face of a minor.

    1. American Patriot

      Disney needs the money

  61. MES

It’s not just a parenting issue, it violates the law.

    1. American Patriot

Yes yes. Yes. They should all be beaten to death by Disney security.

  62. Tony Robertson

Should not be alcohol there anyway. Welcome to screwed up Disney world.
    Or woke park.

    1. American Patriot

Disney needs money or are you a communist ?

  63. American Patriot

Disney should have gone further and had the parents and the children arrested for lewd and indecent behavior. Parents forcing their children to handle alcohol deserve at least castration and neutering plus Sharia Law public whipping and the children as well. For these are the types of parents that hate America, are communists, vote Democrat, and teach kids to be gay and step on the flag and wipe their butts with the Bible. They don’t fear god and they take drugs and engage in illegal sex. Disney is a patriotic American and god fearing company that should go the extra step and tase them all. In my opinion, they got barely a slap on the wrist when they should all have been shot. Heil Lord Trump forever. Amen.

    1. Steve

You are a pathetic commie. Besides, democrats are the ones that support sharia, you will find.
